Someone described our last event better than we ever could.

“It’s like Toys R Us for people in my world. Incredible founders, incredible people, incredible venues.”

Their third Willpower event. Definitely not the last.

Another attendee also put words to what we’re actually building: “Connecting great people together from the community, trying to learn from each other and solve problems together.”

That’s it. That’s the whole thing.

The next one’s already in the works. Newsletter link in bio to be first to know when invites drop.

Cult status doesn’t happen by accident. Last week we talked about how it gets built, three different ways, and we’re still buzzing.

Nick West (Bandit Running Club): build the community, then the business follows it.
Toby Gimand (NY Knicks, MSG): inherit a fandom, don’t waste it.
Ankur Goyal (Ultra Pouches): no hometown to build in, so the content becomes the community.

Then straight into cold plunges, saunas, B12 shots, and a room that didn’t want to go home.

No sweat if you missed it. We’re back in November. Link in bio to get on the newsletter and be first to know when invites drop.

Two nights ago at Remedy Place, we turned the AC up twice. The room got warmer than we planned for, in the best way.

Half the room had never been to a Willpower event. Half had been to five. Before the first speaker took the mic, we said one thing: everyone here wants to meet you. Not the version of you that’s networking. You.

Nick West, Toby Gimand, and Ankur Goyal sat down for a conversation we’re going to give more room to over the next few posts. Make sure you drop us a follow so you don’t miss it.

Thank you to Fross Zelnick, Hot Spex Media, Retention.com, and Channable for believing in this room enough to be in it.

And to Remedy Place, for the space, the saunas, the cold plunge, all of it.

This is only a glimpse. There’s a lot more coming.
