You don’t hate selling. You hate the possibility of rejection.

And that fear is costing you opportunities.

One of the biggest mic drop moments from our Growth Circle Mastermind!

You can’t build a business you’re afraid to put in front of people.

Selling isn’t convincing someone to buy something they don’t need. It’s having enough conviction in what you’ve built to actually invite people into it.

Stop making the decision for them.
Stop taking the no personally.
Stop playing small to avoid being uncomfortable.

Your business can’t grow beyond the conversations you’re unwilling to have.

This is why we get founders in the room. Real conversations. Real challenges. Real growth.

Get in the room. Your next breakthrough might be one conversation away.

They said partnerships don’t work.

And they’re right.

Sometimes you’re forced to spend a Sunday floating the Yellowstone with your business partner and family!

Absolutely terrible. 😂

Grateful as hell for aligned partnership, shared vision, families that actually like each other, and building something we genuinely enjoy building.

10/10. Would not recommend. 😏

Founders: Choose your partnerships wisely. The right partner doesn’t just fill a gap in the business. They bring different strengths, challenge you, share the weight, and make the whole damn journey better.

What is the difference between routine and monotony?

Sam describes routine as the persistent priming that enables you to choose your day. Monotony, on the other hand, takes the choice away.

Routine primes you for a bigger life. Monotony erodes you from the inside.

my sober journey isn’t something I talk a lot about & honestly..it should be.

so let me catch you up —

October 31st, 2023~ had my last beer in Oregon before starting “no drink November” - which then turned into a sober December to “end out the year.”

I was going through a breakup after my 10 year relationship ended. No, I didn’t have a drinking problem prior to that...but being at one of the lowest points of life, who’s to say I wasn’t GOING to turn to drinking? I really didn’t know what the next few months would be for me…

I then decided- because I was feeling so clear minded & mentally, physically, & emotionally strong— I’d do a full year (2024) without drinking.

I also thought about how, when I’m ready to meet someone or even make new friends at age 30.. I don’t want to “take a shot” or “have a few beers” to feel confident enough to talk to someone new in this new season of life.

here we are- almost 3 years later. I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been. (don’t be fooled.. I have been in a depressive rut since Marley passed, but overall happy)

I no longer care what others think- I’m proud to be sober knowing my body & mind are thanking me daily. Fit for life’s adventures starts here.

A few things I’ve learned through my *almost* 3 years of sobriety:

& my fav N/A options:

Kava Ceremony

After a long days of work and cleanup in the community, the camp winds down with a Kava ceremony led by @emilyschromm.
Huge shout out to @drinkkavahaven and @drinkhazlo for providing the beverages to help us relax and decompress after a hard days work. The team resets their mind and body as they get ready for day two of the Challenge Retreat.

for the girlies who don’t mind
getting a little dirt in their nails
laying with the ants
bathing in the lake
connecting with strangers
& watching the stars.

who find safety in the circle
find stillness in the breath
find freedom in the movement
& find more of themselves in the journey.

the most powerful part?
it’s not a fancy resort
it’s just an exchange with the land
it’s an opportunity to really connect
fully embraced by the mountains & trees
the earth truly beneath you
there’s nothing more sacred than that.
a voyage through the heart.

an opportunity to feel
earthed
embodied
& empowered

“Actually you’re good right here. You as you are. You don’t need anything else.”

Sam shares the deeper meaning behind Hazlo — a simple reminder that the best version of yourself has been right here the whole time.

Just as Red Bull embodies energy, Hazlo embodies presence.

Industries are built on the notion that you are not enough. Sam and Hazlo are here to change that narrative.

Full episode with Sam is out now, everywhere you listen.

Are you afraid of making the wrong decision?

Sam shares how his initial idea behind Hazlo — a tequila mixer — was the wrong decision.

But choosing the wrong product first gave him the data he needed to find the right one. Without that “wrong” decision, Hazlo wouldn’t exist today.

What decision are you struggling with?

dreaming of better days 💭⛰️💕🌞

tried staying busy- rather than sad this past week since Marley passed.

One of my favorite DM’s from a stranger this week said:

“Death is the deal we make with life. It’s better to have sorrow and longing because it meant that the time between mattered.” 🧡

thx for the impromptu adventures, Utah.
👉🏼Wyoming up next!
