@njenworks and team have designed a brand identity for @thewangcontemporary. A longtime dream of their founder @alexwangny and his mother, Ying Wang, The Wang Contemporary is a cultural vanguard founded to support and present Asian and Asian-American creativity across generations and disciplines. Through exhibitions, performances and public programs, The Wang Contemporary serves as a platform for creatives to experiment, challenge conventions and engage with culture as a living, evolving force, rooted in history while oriented towards the future. Located at 58 Bowery in New York City’s Chinatown, The Wang Contemporary is housed in a historic landmark long embedded in the neighborhood’s cultural landscape, and one that is now under Chinese-American ownership for the first time in over a century. The Wang Contemporary’s inaugural exhibition, an installation by the Brooklyn-based conceptual collective @mschf is on view 02.20.26–02.22.26 from 12pm–6pm daily. For more from The Wang Contemporary, including ticketing information follow @thewangcontemporary, or visit the link in their bio Project team: @njenworks @whitneybadge @dvd.ufo @drithii @kentaclysm @stevenmerenda

📣 Say hello to the second round of Panel2Party 2025 panelists! 🪩 @drithii, Pentagram Drithi Kandoor is a designer and creative coder from Bangalore, currently at Pentagram. A recent graduate of Parsons School of Design, her work largely revolves around code, interaction, illustration, & branding. @mietodev, The New York Times (Prev. Apple) Dev Makker is a multidisciplinary designer—though he prefers the far more honest title of dedicated generalist. His work moves between product design, 3D, motion, and code, held together by an enthusiasm for making things both slightly clearer and slightly stranger than they were before. Having started freelancing since the age of 14, these values allowed him to work across startups, music collectives, local fashion brands, and socially-driven projects. Now a Parsons CD graduate, Dev approaches design with the earnest curiosity of someone who still thinks every new tool might change his life, and sometimes it actually does. He applies this mindset at The New York Times, where he designs digital experiences across the app. Along the way, his experiments in visual design have picked up awards, exhibitions, and a reputation for projects that have a dash of mischief.

@njenworks and team have designed the new identity for @macrofactorapp, the science-based health and fitness app. MacroFactor is built for people who want to get serious about their bodies—whether that means losing weight, gaining muscle, or simply building healthier habits. Developed by scientists, coaches, and engineers, the app turns adaptive algorithms into practical guidance, delivering precision that users can trust. Its proposition is simple and direct: knowledge creates clarity, and clarity creates progress. But clarity alone doesn’t make a brand. Numbers require narratives; data needs design. The new identity frames science as both exacting and human. Inspired Science is less a slogan than a tension: rigorous and empathetic, motivating and methodical. This idea crystallizes in the mission Empower Every Body, turning evidence into possibility—making strength, confidence, and insight accessible to all. It expands into a vision: The whole MF World—a playful shorthand that signals both the scale of ambition and the community spirit at the heart of MacroFactor. The design system is where precision and adaptability are brought to life. At its core is MacroSans, a custom variable typeface designed to embody the brand’s dual character: architectural in structure yet fluid in application. Icons and illustrations are another essential layer of the identity. Food logging is the ritual heart of the product, and over 450 icons were redrawn not as embellishment but as instruments—visual units of measurement that make discipline legible and delightful. Alongside them, a suite of in-app illustrations marks moments of accomplishment. The identity celebrates both sides of MacroFactor: the discipline of data and the joy of progress. It elevates the game of similar apps, raising expectations for how design can make science useful and inspiring. Full case study at the link in our bio!
