July’s installment of Bass N Create is a tribute to one of my favorite producers of all time @thelenzman 🕊️

The Drum&Bass community lost a real one this weekend ✨ Lenzman’s sound was something that shocked me when I first heard it in 2011. A breath of fresh air , with beautiful soulful liquid tunes on Spearhead to the gritty soulful tunes on Metalheadz. Then the creation of the North Quarter label which is exactly what this scene needed. I’m so glad to have existed in the same time line as this talented &inspirational individual.

Music is an element that provides opportunities to share sounds you love with people who would appreciate it just as much. We will continue that this month on Twitch. I’ll be featuring his live set from Respect LA in 2014, which I happened to be present for and still goes down as one of my favorite live sets of all time. Next will be a mix from 2013 by @sammysirreal that highlights Lenzman’s talents side by side another legend in the game Calibre.

On the stream I’ll be adding / finishing a community project which started over the 4th of July weekend with my NYC DNB family. The final piece will be raffled off and all proceeds raised will be donated to his family. Thanks to all who contributed to this blank canvas 🫶🏼

I love this scene, and the people we get to meet while experiencing a sound we all love. I also love creating a space for us to be, release and create. I hope you join me for 3 plus hours of soulful healing ✨

Thank you Lenzman , for everything you have brought to this community. Your legacy lives on with your electric spirit and contribution to this sound 🩷✨🕊️

FREE PARTY!! Hot time Summer in the City! 21st Annual Drum & Bass BBQ getting you grimey and gritty. 21 years of,”Let us cook you up some food and play some beats.” Come join us on this beautiful day of dance and celebration. Nassau county/ Cedar Creek Park has a small parking fee but otherwise this event is free. The park is located within Jones beach fireworks display. We were able to watch last year as we were packing it all up. Music starts at noon.

NYC DNB STAND UP!!! Come show your support, donate to the fundraiser if possible! One Love, Drae!

So thankful for the past 5 weeks in the USA 🇺🇸

Playing the music I love and sharing those moments with so many amazing people has honestly been surreal. Sometimes I genuinely have to pinch myself that this is my life 😇

Thank you to everyone who came out to a show, to all the promoters who gave me these opportunities, and to my agent & management for keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
