Back when I was in school, we got as many teeth to practice on as we wanted. Does your school charge you extra for more teeth to practice on??

“For newly graduated docs it can be intimidating to practice by yourself once you graduate. Do you agree?

But the best career move I made was completing an AEGD with the University of Florida.

It’s was a year of dedicated mentorship from experienced docs from the top of their field giving as much experience as you can handle. We did implants, tons of surgery, advanced prost, almost everything. Without worries about production.

For dental students, I highly encourage you to do your research on if a AEGD/GPR is a good fit for the dentistry you want to practice.

Don’t get me wrong, there are some cons to a year of additional training, but in my humble opinion the pros outweigh the cons 10 fold.
