Yesterday was just such a fun day at The Shed. My birthday was a blast, but honestly, having the store full of customers laughing, shopping, dancing and having such a good time made me so happy. Days like this are exactly why I love the Shed so much. A full store, lots of laughs, great clothes and some very questionable dance moves. Pretty perfect birthday if you ask me. Here are a few highlights from yesterday. ❤️

Meet our newest models: a pediatrician/chef and an insurance executive who love ❤️ the Shed so much, they gave the runway a try! They’re wearing COPPER studded jeans by Pistola—so good, Dr. Julia may not have taken hers off since she bought them. And those incredible Premiata slides? Almost gone: just three pairs left—one 37, one 39, and one 40. Sold out at the company, so when they’re gone, they’re gone! They thought they were walking too fast the first time, so they tried again—and absolutely nailed it. ❤️#shoptheshed #uniqueboutique #friendsarethebestmodels

We wrote in meadows and along rivers, we shared our work around the fire, we ate steak and baked Alaska, we galloped, we trotted, we learned character development and leatherworking, plot structure and roping skills, and we didn’t once turn on our phones. If only all classrooms were @ranchlands classrooms. This year I got to teach a writing workshop with the epic genius @larissafasthorse and I will keep going back as long as they’ll have me. It’s summer camp for literary horsefolk and heaven of heavens on earth.

Sweet, Spicy & Salty Pecans 🌰 A staple in our house—we always have a batch on hand to snack on or add on top of salads. These pecans are roasted until crunchy, then coated in maple syrup and cayenne for the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and a little heat. Pecans provide healthy fats and a bit of fiber to help keep you full, while cayenne adds a bold kick and supports circulation. They’re simple, flavorful, and easy to enjoy any time. 🌱Recipe made as written = 1¼ plants Pecans = 1 Cayenne pepper = ¼ 🌱 Comment “recipe” for full details ✨ #30Plants #PlantDiversity #HealthySnacks #EatTheRainbow #Pecans

Last night was a good reminder of what to take from this chaotic season: lots of laughter, good friends, good food, and being around people who let you be yourself. Thank you to the hostess with the mostess! This friend of mine felt amazing in her sparkly Anne Mashburn skirt—and it shows. When you feel good in what you’re wearing, you relax and enjoy the moment a little more. Christmas is about being with friends and family—but let’s be honest, the outfit does count. We have the skirt at the Shed (one left, now 25% off) if you’re inspired! #realfreindsarefamily

A breath of fresh air seeing this (and others) customer today! I was so happy to see Dr. Julia walk through the door. With the sun finally shining and a busy day, her bright smile and cheerful energy was catchy. This gorgeous customer is a chef and a doctor(!), juggling life between sunny California and the East Coast. She recently bought her late mother’s home in Wenham, MA, so she’ll be splitting her time between the two coasts. I love her zest for life and the way she lights up the room. I feel lucky to have customers like Dr. Julia, who make my day brighter just by walking through the door. Here’s to good friends, good weather, and a better mood! Don’t look at the weather forecast for the weekend. Come see us at the Shed. Or online, if you don’t want to leave your house! Www.thecoppershedllc.net #shoptheshed
