Repeat after me:
“Managing other people’s reactions is not my job.”

Let them misunderstand, be disappointed, feel sad or upset.

People are allowed to feel whatever they feel. Let them.

The only thing you CAN control is what you say, how you feel, and what you do next.

Paraphrased from Mel Robbins.

So good!!😊

A sure way to stop yourself from attracting your Mr. Right is to believe that it’s all just luck of the draw. That belief affirms your powerlessness and takes the power OUT of your hands, dear lady.

Most women are encouraged in this society to sit back and wait, wait for love, wait for Prince Charming, wait for the timing to be “perfect” (which is a recipe for waiting so long that it gets harder to start a family), or wait to be swept away by their Prince Charming.

I know I wished for years that there was a fairy godmother to sprinkle magic fairy dust on me and just bring a Prince Charming to me riding up on his white horse, but as the years went by, I had to wake up to the fact that my fairy godmother isn’t coming and I had to be my OWN fairy godmother and sprinkle my own magic fairy dust over my love life.

So, how can you begin to add magic fairy dust over your own life in love?
If you have felt unlucky in love, this is for you. Straight from psychologist, author & researcher, Dr. Richard Wiseman is the author of “The Luck Factor”… a book where he examined what exactly is “good luck” and “bad luck”, and how can we increase our luck overall in all different areas of life.

Here are the 4 ways to start shifting your so-called “Luck in Love” immediately:
#1: Practice Creating and Noticing Chance Opportunities
#2: Make “lucky” decisions by listening to your intuition
#3: Create self-fulfilling prophecies via positive expectations
#4: Adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good

And here’s an affirmation for you to help you start, or increase your luck factor. This affirmation was proven to be effective by over 10 years of Dr. Wiseman’s clinical research on what creates “luck”, and I’ve adapted it to be specific about love:
“I want to increase my luck in love that I experience in my life and am prepared to make the necessary changes in my beliefs, behaviors & frameworks around love, relationships and men.”

You can be single and want to find your dream man and STILL BE VALID.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting love.
Don’t let society or the media sell your dreams out to the dysfunctional messages that are out there. Healthy relationships are part of the good stuff of life.
OF COURSE your career is important. OF COURSE your independence and freedom is important.
AND, if you have a dream in your heart for a husband and children, THAT’S OKAY TOO.
What’s important is to BE REAL about what you really really want. Don’t let toxic messages and unhealthy role models of dysfunctional and bitter relationships skew your dream.
You can have it all: an amazing career, a healthy body, an amazing husband, a lifestyle you’re excited about.
But only if you’re willing to stop following the crowd. Only if you’re willing to be a rebel and place relationships at a high priority in your life.
Yes, it IS harder than ever to find love. In a culture of mean spiritedness, bitterness, selfishness, and cynicism around relationships, this makes it harder for the modern woman to admit what she really wants: a husband and children.
So you have to rebel and fight against the machine. You have to be a WARRIOR for your dreams.
You have to become a LOVE WARRIOR.

In the intentional journey to the love of your life, remember this wisdom.

This journey is all about YOU.

Just show up. Do the work. It gets easier over time. You choose what your comfort zone is by what you repeatedly do, and if you can gather the will to defy the limits of it even briefly, to create new and better habits, they will become easier and more natural if not completely second nature over time.

Do this for yourself. Choose. Put in the hours, put in the sweat, show up for the people you love, reach out, do better, try again. Your feelings will fail you if you listen to them and only them. They do not know all that you are capable of - so show them. Prove to yourself that you are exactly the person you have always wanted to be. Not maybe later, not someday in the future - today, right now.

If INFORMATION was all you needed to:

- Be wealthy and prosperous
- Be ecstatically married to the love of your life forever
- Be healthy and vibrant

Then all you’d have to do is use Google.

INFORMATION is good, sure.

But HOW exactly to apply said information and WHAT thinking processes you need to implement said information and WHY to do x, y, and z.... especially since different seasons of your life demand different approaches…

That’s the big challenge. It’s the subtle nuances from information that contain all the gold.

And because we are human and many of us resist change, even when we want it….that’s exactly why you need a mentor, an expert guide, a coach.

Because you don’t know what you don’t know.

Because CONTEXT matters. The context of your life in which you’re applying said information is why the same information applied to one’s life works for some, and not for others.

And you can’t, by definition, see your blind spots.

Getting good information is the first step, the next is how to apply it in a way that honors your particular season in life, and the next is to have an expert guide who holds you accountable to your dreams and helps you past your resistance to change…. And that’s what leads to TRANSFORMATION....

Surround yourself with people who are UP TO SOMETHING GOOD in their lives.

People who have a growth mindset.

People who believe in and value themselves.

People of character, who live their values with integrity and honor.

Let them speak blessings into your life, as you speak blessings into theirs.

And you will spiral up together, in your love and relationship life, in your finances, in your health and overall happiness and fulfillment.

That is living the Love Warrior Life.

Our dear Love Warrior client Ramona just sent me some absolutely gorgeous wedding photos!

When she first got engaged to him, this is what she shared with us:

“Johnny & Lara! I want to express my deepest gratitude to you and honor the blessing that you’ve been on my journey of stepping into this new chapter with the man of my dreams ❤️!

I remember when I first started this journey with you. I was so skeptical and wondered how it would work.

The raw opening and sometimes painful process that was held with so much love from you is truly appreciated. I’d hear Johnny’s voice everywhere! “Trust the process,” “Be kind to yourself,” “You deserve this,” and so much more.

You helped me learn so many beautiful things about myself and how to cherish all the little (yet BIG!) steps to get to this place…SELF LOVE 💖!

I’m soaking in all goodness of yesterday’s proposal and I’m excited for our next steps as we continue to create the life of our dreams together 🥰.

Damian is everything I ever imagined and more...The way he serenades me with his guitars (YES he plays all different kinds😍), making homemade Italian cuisine, always showering me with love, and just the way he shows up!

Thank you a million times! 😘🤗

Lots of love,
❤️Ramona

P.S. These photos are shared with her permission and her blessing to inspire other single women on their intentional journey to soulmate love. <3

To the single woman who doesn’t want to be single anymore:

“Memento mori”: Remember that you will die.

Something I learned from both the death of my dad from cancer last year and the tragic death of our dear puppy Mikey earlier this year, is something my dad used to say from time to time: memento mori. Remember that you will die.

So today I’m urging you to take full advantage of the time you have right now, enjoy it, and really go for what you want in life and in love, because tomorrow is never promised.

Life is hard and there WILL be challenges.

God willing, you will live a long time… but let me tell you, making it through the hard times is far better with your soulmate by your side. I’m so glad I put time, energy, and money into prioritizing love all those years ago– it pays off tremendously in both the good times and the bad.

How can you “carpe diem” (since we’re using Latin today), seize the day and make the most out of it?

Because here’s the hard truth:

As important and fulfilling as it can be, your career won’t comfort you when the hard times come.

When you’re sick.

When things are just hard in life.

When a loved one dies.

You’re completely replaceable in your job.

But not your family and personal life. You are IRREPLACEABLE to those who love you and care about you.

So… what can you do to make your dream of true love a priority today?

What’s one small baby step?

Stop the scroll for just a moment, and contemplate that.

Ask yourself, “How can I prioritize finding true love, and living the life of my dreams, even just a little bit today?”

And go do it. Memento mori… tomorrow is never promised.

So make the most of today. ❤️‍🩹
