The Lee #votingsquad included Willie, Kvey, Crystal, Gregory and I💚We voted at our new precinct/poll this morning. Our experience with voting in Prince George, VA, was and has always been an easy process. Volunteering at our precinct in Prince George, VA, is a different story. We have had a few challenges and those who wanted to challenge us. People with ideas different from ours and who we represented were rude and obnoxious! But Willie and I stood firm on what we believe in and whom we support! We did see and hear one person in particular complaining about his lack of #know before you go! That guy complained about him not knowing that his polling location had changed! He says he was not mad with the polling volunteers but just mad! Watch out for the possibility of individuals that show signs of anger. Sadly, misinformation causes divisiveness. #votingsquad #wevoted2 Vote! Vote! Please vote!

100 Miles for Hope
Today, American Legion Post 1703 participated in the 100 Miles for Hope campaign. The campaign is a way for American Legion Family members to raise donations for the Veterans and Children Foundation, as well as encourage members to stay active.

Legionnaires participating were Chaplain Willie L. Lee, Jr. and Finance Officer Dr. Le’one Marie Lee and Sons of the Legion member Tristan J-L. Richard. They had run in several activities at Fort Lee, VA. Willie and Tristan rode bikes and completed the chin-ups exercises and Le’one walked the track.

Please feel free to come on out and join us on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 9:00 am, Fort Lee, VA.

I posted our article in Legiontown.org entitled: Post 1703 Legionnaires and Youth 100 Miles for Hope

Post 1703 Legionnaires and Youth have completed daily wellness activities of at least a half-hour per activity since April, 01, 2021. Jointly, our 100 Miles are complete. However, we will constantly accumulate points as we continue our initiative until September 6, 2021. Several of us complete up to three wellness activities each day. We are thankful the activities count toward our totals and our 100 Miles for Hope Challenge. Go PG1703! “We Stand Together We Stay Together!!!”
