NEW HEADLINE SHOW | NORWICH | MARCH 19TH

@spacestudiosnorwich

After cramming Norwich arts Centre to the rafters a couple of weeks ago we’ve decided we just cannot wait to play Norwich again. But this time it’s different… an intimate venue, no big stage, no huge PA, no pomp and ceremony just us, you and our entire new album inside out plus all the old songs you know and love.

The only way to get tickets is to sign up to our mailing list now and you will receive a secret link that goes live on Friday. This show will definitely sell out and quickly at that so do not hesitate. Don’t miss out. This is going to be a very very special night. ❤️

IT’S OUT! Lion’s Den is available everywhere. Go listen.

This song is a very special one to me. Couldn’t have made it without our producer David Pye @davidpye_ who’s understanding of the goal and guidance will never be underestimated. Somehow able to balance the heaviest weight on the most delicate frame.

Ollie Welch @welchybeardoodles who plays guitar on this track. I’m honoured to have your parts on this.

Raya @magpiethistle from @birdwitch_band who gave us a glorious vocal on this one. THE LION’S DEN

@bam.bam.studios for the beautiful studio space to record in and @godsteethart for the cover art.

HUGE thanks to @drongorecords for your continued support you are an absolute gem

Thanks to @memphiamanagement for jumping on board with us for these releases too

Lion’s Den was mastered by @izzymcpheeaudio who took my guttural simian grunts as notes and understood them exactly as i hoped “make sound big but also small”

Thanks to Luke at @trustartistsagency for booking these shows too

Thank you to everyone who has supported us one way or another.

Enjoy this, listen on repeat, learn the words, come and sing along on tour.

🦁❤️

"...He's still playing in a band at that age?" @mat_haigh of @wotgorilla on making music as an "older person". From episode 69 of the '60 Minutes or less' podcast from Birthday Cake For Breakfast. The new Wot Gorilla? album 'Stay Home' is out now via @drongorecords.

Episode 69 of the ‘60 Minutes or less’ podcast is now LIVE and it’s a trip down memory lane, featuring an interview with @mat_haigh of Halifax math-rock outfit @wotgorilla!

Formed in 2009 in Sowerby Bridge, Wot Gorilla? ain’t lying when they say they’ve carved out their own corner of the UK’s math and post-hardcore scene. Nearly 20 years in the game, the line-up has shifted over the years, as they’ve shared stages with all sorts, from Rolo Tomassi to The Get Up Kids.

Having interviewed Mat many times over the past decade plus, we reconnected at the start of 2026 ahead of the release of the latest Wot Gorilla? album, ‘Stay Home’, out that very same month via @drongorecords. With the record coming out just shy of 10 years on from the release of their last EP, ‘Angel Numbers’, we had a lot to talk about!

Over Zoom, we spoke of life at home in Halifax, Turnstile rumours, the joys of social media, playing music as an older person and almost two decades of Wot Gorilla?
