We woke up in Bir Soltane, surrounded by the desert, and headed towards Matmata for our first full stage of racing.

A tough day on the bike, with plenty of stories to tell at the finish line.

And tonight, a completely different experience: sleeping in traditional troglodyte rooms, carved into the rock in Matmata.

From desert camps to cave rooms, every day brings something new🙌🏼

Pre-registration for 2027 are open, link in bio.

TAKING THE STAGE WIN 🥇 AND FIRST PLACE IN THE GC AT @wildbearmtb ✨

The older I get, the more I realise what a privilege it is to race alongside my dad. For the past 16 years, we’ve shared race bibs, finish lines, suffering, laughter and some of the most beautiful emotions this sport has given us. From absolutely sending it down the most technical descents, to both discovering that our climbing legs had apparently decided to stay home on the toughest climbs — somehow, there was always a smile at the end :))

And maybe that’s what makes this one so special.

This was my last dance before surgery. I went to sleep with tears in my eyes, knowing it might be a while before I get to feel all of this again. But I woke up with one clear thought: make EVERYTHING out of this last day on the bike.

So we did 🫶🏼

I threw myself into every rough, rocky and technical trail, soaked up every descent and, for once, didn’t hate the climbs.

Instead, I felt incredibly lucky to feel the suffering in my legs, to control my breathing, to find my rhythm and to simply be there — racing, hurting, smiling and sharing it all with my dad.

And for everyone who followed the race closely — yes, I managed to get another ticket on daddy’s pain train today 🫠

Taking the win makes this day even more special, but sharing it with these beautiful people is what I’ll carry with me 🫶🏼

And while we celebrate our win, our thoughts are with greetesteinburg and partner. You guys were unbelievably strong. You deserve nothing but respect. Wishing you both a strong and speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

One last dance before surgery.
Couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful way to end this chapter 🫶🏼

Second @wildbearmtb for me, and definitely not the last🙌🏼

Another week that reminded me just how special this place is.

And yes, coming back here with @ride.with.hans is already in the plans. I have a feeling this is becoming a tradition🥹

I guess I have no choice but to book that flight back to Serbia for 2027.
