[UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE VOL.2] [BAND PROFILE] Resist like a bat out of hell. In a modern society built for decline, the castles and abbeys may have been replaced with skyscrapers and office fronts, yet the ancient evils remain the same. Melbourne/Naarm anarcho trio VAMPIRE have risen to expose the modern parasites for exactly what they are and how we can resist them. The trio delivers an ode to the tried and tested 80s UK anarcho sound that has been shaped and sharpened to fight the modern parasitic evils. They play a coordinated balancing act, sharing distant and desperate calls to arms all backed by each other and an unyielding apocalyptic and hauntingly melodic wall of coordinated anarcho noise to never leave a breathe of nutrients for the parasite. Through relentless shows locally and a successful UK and EU tour to the Mecca of their sound, VAMPIRE have driven their stakes in the hearts of all who’ve experienced them. Join the resistance this October as play make their way to Vinnies Dive as part of the Unexploded Ordnance weekend thanks to R.I.P.Peace Records. Tickets at the link. [UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE VOL.2] [BAND PROFILE] Are you the hammer or the nail? In a sick society where sentient algorithms and tech overlords keep watch, one faction of human resistance has risen from the ruins. Known only to authorities and data centres simply as HACKER - this band of resistance fighters have broken every firewall and countered every command set to stop them on their mission. Pirate broadcasting their signal of hope for humanity from a bunker in the depths of Melbourne/Naarm, HACKER transmits their raw punk data past all security and directly attacks the operating systems responsible for this dystopian tech-scape. HACKER have successfully uploaded a mutating hardcore punk virus into local area, interstate and now recently international networks through a hammering live performance in tangible forums and their growing catalogue of recordingsz The HACKER branch move their mobile base of operations to Vinnies Dive on the Gold Coast this October as apart of the Unexploded Ordnance weekend thanks to R.I.P.Peace Records. Join the resistance and bypass the login fees with presale tickets and the link. No electronic devices will be safe. Words & reels by @good.good.food.food
