Raw, noisy, distorted, and loud! 90 minute #livetechno set recorded at Mir in #oslo, Norway 15.03.2026. Full set now up on youtube.com/@drusnoise and soundcloud.com/drusnoise

Sounds from plants, heartbeats, electromagnetic fields, light mixed with heavy beats and analog synths with plenty of saturation through the mixer.

This clip features a hand-built electromagnetic field listening device sending sounds of gear power supplies into the #modularsynth for soundscapes then through VCA/VCF for added percussion. And through @hologram_electronics Microcosm and @fieldtone_instruments Weaver pedals for delays and reverbs and strange rhythmic loops.

Many thanks to all who came out to dance, @mirsceneoslo for hosting, @drool_techno for organizing and playing, and @maxpacemaker for sharing the stage. And to the team at @notam02 for the soldering workshop to build the EMF mic.

Final setup ready to go for Sunday night #livetechno at @mirsceneoslo
#modularsynth voices from @noiseeng LIP and open source X0X Heart. With lots of other sounds. Electromagnetic fields with hand built black box, @errorinstruments Flowerfield, @instruomodular Scion portable, @jmtsynth Noisy Mic, @mengqimusic Cricket, and an AM/FM radio. Adding on the @hologram_electronics Microcosm and @fieldtone_instruments Weaver pedals for loops, washes, glitches, and delays. Can’t wait for this set. See you on the dance floor

15.03 opening set 20:00-21:30 followed by @maxpacemaker and @drool_techno

Setup for #livetechno set next weekend at @mirsceneoslo with @maxpacemaker and @drool_techno also on the lineup.
Controlled (more or less) chaos mixing analog and digital #modularsynth sound sources, raw electromagnetic field sounds from the power supplies, lots of modulation and light, heartbeat, plant, and touch sensors. With unpredictable (in the best possible way) FX from @makenoisemusic Mimephon, Mutable Clouds/Monsoon, and @hologram_electronics Microcosm. Holding it all together samples and sequencing from the Octatrack with kicks and percussion from the Analog Rytm. Can’t wait to unleash these sounds in #oslo Sunday March 15. See you there!
