We went because we ＮＥＥＤＭＯＲＥ dance floors that feel like The Drop.

Almost 5 years later, the party is now produced by PhDJ coaches, Michael V and Eliza J.

After selling out the iconic nightclub, Monarch, in San Francisco and climbing to 500+ attendees at the Great Northern club this summer, we are excited to start a new chapter in NYC.

🤯 NBD just had the honor of opening the portal for @tashablank at @drop.moves last night ⚡️

I’ve been dancing at her parties for over 15 years, so being behind the decks this time was personal 🥹

So many familiar faces in that sea of dancing ecstasy 😍

Leave a comment if you were there, I want to relive this again and again!!

I love building the energy of a room like this - y’all were incredible!!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Honestly one of the most challenging set prep experience EVER = creative breakthroughs. My brain wouldn’t follow the same pathways so we had to find some new ones 🔥

I posted this in a carousel yesterday & then I was like you know what? This deserves its own damn post. It’s rare to find folks on this level of groove together. And it’s one the the most medicinal things on the planet.

WE DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW @drop.moves @refuge.nyc 🔥

What does freedom mean to you?

For me, it’s about art.

The ability to let creative energy move through me, unbridled by shame, fear, rules, norms, etcccc.

I know people with exorbitant resources who are not free, and others living in conditions my inner privileged princess couldn’t imagine who are more free than I’ve ever been.

What does freedom mean for you?

When do you feel it most?

Agree or disagree?

Also, realized there's at least 2 typos in this, I guess just continued proof that I'm not AI 😂

When mercury retrograde in cancer forces every bit of unexamined tenderness to the surface & cracks open every door you wanted to keep shut & unleashes the very liberation you sought thru the futile grip of “keeping it together”

CONTROL IS AN ILLUSION
