Колись ми створювали події у Харкові, будували лейбл і формували велике ком’юніті творчих людей, об’єднаних музикою, ідеями та культурою.

Ми чекали на правильний момент.

І цей момент настав.

Сьогодні ми готові знову рухатися вперед.

Попереду - нові релізи, нові колаборації та унікальні проєкти, які вже запускаються по всьому світу, але незмінно несуть у собі наш почерк - почерк Харкова.

І ми обов’язково знову зробимо The Garden, щойно це стане можливим. Бо для нас це більше, ніж просто подія - це вже частина культурного коду Харкова🌺

Basanta Music is back.

We once created events in Kharkiv, built a label, and formed a large creative community united by music, ideas, and culture.

We were waiting for the right moment.

And that moment has come.

Today, we are ready to move forward again.

Ahead are new releases, new collaborations, and unique projects already launching around the world, yet all of them still carry our signature - the signature of Kharkiv.

And we will definitely bring The Garden back as soon as it becomes possible. Because for us, it is more than just an event - it has become part of Kharkiv’s cultural identity.

This is just the beginning.🌺

Over the past years, we’ve created different worlds that became much more than just events or parties - they became atmospheres, communities, emotions, culture, and memories.

Everything started with @thegarden.event

Inspired by Amsterdam, we began creating intimate events in Kharkiv, Ukraine. What started in hidden spaces later grew into events at the House of Architects, factories, the central market, airport terminals, and other unique city locations.

That was the moment The Garden became more than an event.

It became about people.
About freedom.
About music.
About culture.
About Ukraine.

Over the years, we brought incredible artists from the global electronic music scene:

Then came @timelessofc (Time:Code) - one of the strongest DJ streaming projects of its time. We created several shows in Ukraine, including filming inside the Kharkiv Philharmonic Hall.

Later, @asiatika.event was born in Thailand - an Asian masquerade inspired by the beauty and cultural codes of Asia. From Thailand to Tashkent, and now Bali, the project continues growing around the world.

We also created The Kitchen - an intimate villa concept where the DJ booth stands directly inside the kitchen, surrounded by friends, artists, and community.

All of this is @basanta.music

Another important chapter became Tashkent and Uzbekistan.

Together with @elle.ozbekiston , we organized the official Visa Fashion Week x ELLE Ozbekiston afterparty, connecting fashion, electronic music, culture, and modern creative energy in one space.

For us, it was never just about parties.
It has always been about connecting people, music, culture, and aesthetics.

And one day, we will bring all of this back to Ukraine again.

Tashkent 🇺🇿
Exactly a year ago, I arrived in Uzbekistan. I had absolutely no expectations, I thought - two weeks, maybe a little more, and then I’d fly away with my 24-kilogram suitcase. You can be the music editor of ELLE remotely, after all.
But life is a strange and beautiful thing. This city gave me incredible people, people who became so close that I can’t imagine my life without them now. They’re so open, it feels like another world. I kept waiting for the catch, but there isn’t one.
Tashkent taught me patience, and then even more patience. It taught me to give and receive without conditions.
And the food here - unreal. I’ve been to many countries, but the food here is on another level.
Tashkent reminds me of my Kharkiv by its vibe. And the nature here is stunning.

Here, I went through a mix of feelings and emotions. It wasn’t always easy, but it was real. I learned what it means to fall in love at first sight, to be a true friend, to create, to work - and maybe, I found my path again.

If I sum it up somehow, we’ve done a lot of great things: the Visa Fashion Week Afterparty, the Afterparty after Black Coffee, artist bookings, discovering new talents, launching a label, doing strong interviews for ELLE, and much more.
We’ve written a couple of tracks, and releases are coming soon. I’m planning to relaunch my project right here in Tashkent, because there are so many talented people around - from fashion designers and filmmakers to vocalists and musicians.
I’ve been to every city in Uzbekistan, crossed the desert, hiked in the mountains, visited historical places, even attended a couple of weddings.

And those who know me well know that I’m not good at staying in one place for long. I’m afraid to settle down and find a home that isn’t home.
But when I told my friends that, they said, “We’re not letting you go anywhere, Mitch Aka.”

I’ll try to tag everyone, but I don’t think they’ll all fit.

Today’s gathering was filled with inspiration, creativity, and the spirit of women’s entrepreneurship. It was wonderful to see so many amazing women come together to share ideas, connect, and support one another.

A heartfelt thank you to Elle O’zbekiston, @drorobot Oleg, and Natalia for their inspiring contribution and support, and to @nadi_uz Nadi for sharing her beautiful story of how passion and love for the chapan led to her entrepreneurial journey.

🌿 Panel Session at Eco Expo 2025: Empowering Youth through Sustainable Fashion 🌿

As part of the Eco Expo 2025, I had the honor of organizing and moderating a high-impact panel session titled “Empowering Youth: Embracing Slow Fashion and Conscious Consumption in Sustainable Fashion Choices” — in collaboration with the Ministry of Ecology of Uzbekistan.

The event brought together leading voices in ethical fashion, media, and education, including:
• Dr. Yokut Schmid (WHYESSE, Advisor to Minister of Silk & Wool Industry)
• Oleg Drobot (CEO, ELLE O’zbekiston)
• Ersel Örge (Head of Fashion & Design School, MDIS Tashkent)
• M. Madina (Young Eco Designer, Dried Heart of Central Asia)
• Eco Club members from TSUE

Through this engaging one-hour session, we explored the urgent problem of textile waste, the environmental cost of fast fashion, and youth-driven solutions that promote mindful consumption. The session highlighted personal stories, media strategies, and educational efforts, inspiring attendees to take meaningful action toward a more sustainable future in fashion.

It was especially inspiring to see how students and young entrepreneurs are taking the lead — turning creativity into climate action. Grateful to all partners and panelists for their valuable contributions.

Un moment fort. Une énergie collective.

ELLE Luxembourg a eu le privilège de participer à la ELLE international Conférence 2025, réunissant à Versailles les rédactions en chef des 50 éditions du ELLE à travers le monde, pour célébrer ensemble la force, la créativité et la vision d’un média mondialement engagé.

Notre rédactrice en chef, Marie-Adélaïde Leclercq-Olhagaray, a porté haut les couleurs du Luxembourg lors de cet événement d’exception, placé sous le signe de l’innovation éditoriale, de la sororité et du dialogue interculturel.

Tout au long du séminaire, nous avons été inspirés par des personnalités visionnaires : Séverine Merle, CEO de @celine, Bruno Pavlovsky, Président de la mode chez @chanelofficial, Francis Kurkdjian, Parfums Christian @dior & @maisonfranciskurkdjian, Anne-Laure Giret, Head of @google Cloud AI GTM, EMEA South, Gregory Roekens, @havas. Leurs prises de parole ont fait écho à notre mission : façonner demain, avec audace et responsabilité.

Un moment de grande émotion a marqué la conférence : le témoignage de l’équipe @elle_ukraine, dont le courage et la résilience incarnent puissamment les valeurs de la marque. Leur intervention restera gravée dans nos mémoires.

Enfin, la soirée de gala à @artcurial__ a été l’apothéose de cette rencontre : une exposition anniversaire imaginée pour les 80 ans de ELLE, rassemblant les œuvres de 31 artistes du monde entier.

Merci à François Coruzzi, Valeria Bessolo LLopiz, Constance Benqué, Julian DANIEL, Anne Billaz Le Leap, Florian de Wasseige et à toute l’équipe ELLE International pour avoir créé les conditions d’un échange aussi riche que stimulant. Et un remerciement tout particulier à Ekaterina Mudrik et Virginie Dolata pour leur coordination attentive et leur soutien tout au long de cette conférence.

Nous repartons portées par une énergie nouvelle, plus que jamais fiers de contribuer au rayonnement de ELLE depuis le Luxembourg.
