POUR INTO YOU: A reminder that taking care of yourself can look like so many things. 🌿
It can look like stepping onto your mat, taking a deep breath, exploring somewhere you’ve never been, making time for your passions, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down and enjoy where you are.
My trip to Italy was such a beautiful reminder to keep exploring, keep learning, and keep pouring into the things that make life feel full. 🇮🇹✨
What’s something you’ve been wanting to make more time for lately? 🤎

What my soul needed. ✨🥂

Making Sea Moss Gel! So many benefits!! This one has dandelion root, sour sop leaves, bay leaves and lemon… earthy flavor but good for the body!

A few beach options in Sosua/Cabarete area of Dominican Republic 🇩🇴!! Playa Alicia(calm, nice beach day, restaurant), Playa Sousa (busier, lots of shopping, bars, food, many boats), Playa Cabarete (bigger, busy, MANY food/bar options, kite surfing). Of these 3 Playa Cabarete is my favorite but it all depends on your mood and the kind of vibe you want! Just get there! 🇩🇴🇩🇴

📣March 14 is Black Midwives Day! 🖤🩺

Black midwives have been the backbone of maternal and infant care for generations, providing compassionate, culturally grounded, and life-saving support to families. Today, we celebrate the invaluable contributions of Black midwives—past, present, and future—whose work is essential in reducing disparities, uplifting communities, and ensuring that every birthing person receives the care they deserve.

Today, we also highlight just a few of the incredible Black midwives in our community who continue this legacy of care and empowerment. Their dedication changes lives, one birth at a time! Scroll through the tiles above to learn more about Charlette Withers and Dameelah Carolina. 💟✨
Looking for resources or ways to support? The National Black Midwives Alliance (NBMA) is a powerful organization whose mission is to establish a representative voice at the national level, organizing, advocating, and bringing visibility to the issues impacting Black midwives and the communities they serve. In honor of National Black Midwives Day, NBMA is hosting a special conference—a powerful opportunity to learn, connect, and advance birth justice together.
