📌 8 NOV IN BAROEG DDD XXIV DAY 2

𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀.

Despite the tragic loss of key member Mike Hitchen in 2024 The Drowning from Cardiff, Wales crawled up. They returned to the stage and showed everyone how good they are. Their outstanding melodic and energetic doom/death is a force to be reckoned with.

Great times and memories from the UK! Tour package was once again perfect: wonderful people and great musicianship within all the bands. And nice audience overall!

1. It felt good working with the drummers, everyone providing some gear to each other and seeing both Filip and Sam do their thing every night 🫶

2. THE DROWNING! I HAVE FRIENDS IN WALES, SO COOL! Matt, Tansy, Jason and Sam 🫶

3. WHISPERED! The mighty Finnish samurai, congrats for the new album! Jouni, Mikko, Olli and Filip 🫶

4. Darren 🫶 made our life so easy being our driver for the tour. And he widened our English vocabulary.

5. Snare drum head signed by all the bands.

Post-tour-depression hits hard. Luckily the next tour is just around the corner with As the Sun Falls and Post Pulse!

The Return Of The Shogunate Tour is over and just like on the European leg we had some incredible company with us in the UK! Thank you As The Sun Falls and The Drowning (from Wales) for supporting us and making the road feel like home! Great bands, great people - go give them a follow! Huge thanks for the driver Darren for navigating through the mazes of Bradford & Edinburgh the Finnish mind simply cannot grasp and all the great stories! And finally, thank you Dark Moon Events for making the whole tour possible even before we had any new music out to prove that we are still here!

Now we indeed have new music out and this Friday we celebrate the release of Honorbound in Kuudes Linja, Helsinki!
