A quote often attributed to music producer Brian Eno is: "The first Velvet Underground album only sold 10,000 copies, but everyone who bought it formed a band." Yer - some of the best bands ever!
Friday night out for the Pure S*x and Ram Books style icons ... friends, lovers, FWB, welcome to join. Four cool looking bands and then Weird Sin Club. Paper Dress Vintage is a nice venue too ( vintage clothes shop by day venue by night), its got that NYC Lower East Side / Berlin Kreuzberg vibe. I'm hoping for a John Waters Doom Generation Nihilistic type night with lots of Japanese Bosozoku Girl Gang lap dancers; fallen angels in latex and leather. Tickets via Dice and Paper Dress Vintage. https://paperdressvintage.co.uk/?p=18144 https://dice.fm/partner/tickets/event/92wdk6-lonnie-gunn-casual-wednesday-francis-pig-6th-mar-paper-dress-vintage-london-tickets This punk classic from Gene Pitney ...... "A thousand hands applaud tonight
I sing my songs my star shines bright
I stop and smile I take my bow
I leave the stage and then somehow
Backstage I'm lonely, backstage I cry
You've gone away and each night I seem to die a little ...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQABeth0Bv4
