Special thanks to @drpaulwinter and @casematepub for sharing this unique history of the Royal Marines Commandos with me!

📕”First In, Last Out: The Post-War Organization, Employment and Training of Royal Marines Commandos” edited by Dr Paul Winter.

🪖 Like the US Marine Corps, the Royal Marines are currently undergoing significant institutional changes under their Future Commando Force (FCF) program. The next few years will be exciting and challenging for both Corps. Let’s hope both read and understand the hard lessons learned from the battlefields of our pasts.

Some good reads @dagger_books none more so than the recollections of the legendary Stan Scott. If you haven’t watched his video of how to use the commando dagger why not? 1.9 million other people have! #commando #books #commandodagger #royalmarinescommando #armycommando #oldschool #fsfightingknife #ww2 #greatestgeneration #royalmarines
