FORT Abu Dhabi Racing Opens RMC UAE Season with Passion, Commitment & Clear Development Path 🏁

Round 1 delivered strong foundations and standout performances across Mini and Senior.

In Mini, our young drivers battled in a 25-kart field, climbing to P14 and collecting 145 points. Mateo earned Best Novice back-to-back, while Theyab showed impressive defensive racecraft and fight through the midfield.

In Senior, Abdullah represented Qatar in purple, charging into the top eight among 28 competitors against a formidable grid featuring European and World Karting experience.

Across both categories: 248 championship points — and plenty of potential still to unlock.

With valuable lessons learned and performance gains within reach, we now focus on RMC UAE Round 2 at Al Forsan — determined to build momentum, close the gaps and push further forward.

Thank you to our Motorsport Engineering Lead, Race Team Principal and Head Coach Hussein for their leadership, expertise and dedication.

The foundation is set. The potential is clear. Now we turn promise into performance. 💪

Race Recap Rotax Max Challenge Italia Final in Franciacorta 10.-11.10.2026. This should have been my weekend, not only to end a rough season but also to end my active racing carrer. I was fast from Fridays free practices, Quali on P2. But one guy was clearly determined to disrupt the race as much as possible and influence the result. Not just for me, but for several drivers – and, by the way, that’s not just my opinion. I got visibly blocked as I was on the way to my podium or even my race win. It’s really questionable why a driver who has never competed in our championship is actively influencing the decisions that are still up in the air. And on the other side it was really dangerous driving
Congrats to championship winner @andrea_perduca_454 and the vice champion @ale.pedinii . They will rock the Grand Finals in Portimao – good luck guys !
Off the race track we had a little farewell party with my fellow competitors on Friday and Saturday evening and they say there were also some drinks involved 😊

RMC Romania 6 DONE! ✅🏆🇷🇴

WE ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!! 🏆🇷🇴

I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT. After 5 years of karting, I finally achieved something I’ve been dreaming of. Probably the most stressful and unpredictable weekend of my career.

Saturday started with P6 in warmup and P4 in qualifying, meaning another start on the outside row.
Heat 1 was a disaster. A driver spun right in front of me, leaving nowhere to go. I crashed but recovered to P10, only to receive a bumper penalty that dropped me to P12.
Heat 2 was even worse. After a decent start, another driver pushed me off the track, dropping me to P20. With too few laps to recover, I finished P18.
At that point, I felt the championship slipping through my fingers. Somehow, I ended Saturday P9 overall, keeping my hopes alive.

Sunday started with P9 in warmup. In Final 1, I had a great start and quickly climbed to P6. Then my championship rival got involved in a crash. I took the opportunity and fought my way to P3, later promoted to P2 after a DSQ ahead.

THAT WAS IT. I WAS THE 2026 ROMANIAN NATIONAL CHAMPION! 🏆🇷🇴

But there was still one thing left. The Grand Finals ticket.

Final 2 was probably the most boring yet stressful race of my life. Starting P2, I dropped to P3 after the first lap. I stayed close to P2 but didn’t want to risk anything. Meanwhile, my rival was closing in every lap. Even with a comfortable points advantage, those 20 laps felt like an eternity. And then the chequered flag came.

After 5 years of karting, I FINALLY DID IT. NATIONAL CHAMPION AND A TICKET TO THE ROTAX MAX GRAND FINALS IN PORTIMÃO! 🇵🇹

A massive thank you to @gtk.racing and @mirceamanica for believing in me through every high and low. Also, thank you to @drracingkart for the incredible equipment that helped me achieve this dream.

And to my championship rival @dstoianenco85 I wish it hadn’t ended this way. We had an incredible battle all season, with clean racing, countless overtakes and both of us pushing to our limits. I enjoyed every moment and hope we share the track again soon.

5 YEARS. ONE DREAM. NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. 🇷🇴🏆

One team. One nation. Faster together. 🇷🇴

PORTIMÃO, HERE WE COME! 🇵🇹🔥🏁

🏆 10 karting world titles in a single photo. But the most valuable thing has been having the opportunity to learn from these two legends.

There are people who leave a mark on your journey, and for me, these two karting legends will always hold a special place.

Jonathan Thonon, thank you for being my coach, for sharing your experience, for pushing me and helping me grow as a driver. Every piece of advice and every lesson has been an important part of my development.

Danilo Rossi, thank you for opening the doors of DR Racing Kart to me, for your trust and for giving me the opportunity to compete and grow in Italy.

Beyond your titles and everything you have achieved in this sport, what I take with me is what I learned from you, on and off the track.

I feel very lucky to have shared this chapter with two great champions, but above all with two people who have been part of my story.

Thank you for being part of my journey. Everything I have learned will stay with me as I take on the new challenges ahead. 🏁🇲🇽🇮🇹
