less than a year ago i started helping allied health pros across the globe build a 7 figure lean lifestyle practice that’s truly their own. one that works around their life, not the other way around. but for almost a year, we’d only ever done it behind a screen. so last weekend we changed that by running our first ever po1 immersion. gave us a chance to finally hang in person. tbh i’m still trying to find the words for it. honoured, grateful and blessed are probably most accurate. i told my team i didn’t want it to be like every other typical conference. the ones where there’s a tonne of speakers, hard sells, who just fire hose you with info. you’re left feeling drained and more confused than when you arrived. i didn’t want to perform either. just me showing up as me. what i was really hoping for was natural, raw and honest conversations amongst people. sharing the hard stuff out loud and working through it together, but also celebrating the good stuff. when one wins, we all win. there was one intention for this event: get people solid running experiments ie take action and learn from their data. in particular, to finally go pro with their personal brands and flick the switch upstairs to do what you know you need to do. that’s why i brought @dainwalker to the room who just dropped all the knowledge bombs for my people to build a brand they can be proud of. as well as @giorgiogenius, the person i trust with my own mind to nudge people to give themselves permission to be the original version. safe to say this PO1 immersion was gangster. shoutout to my po1 members for showing up and doing the work, and to my @proformphysio for holding it all down whilst always having my back. business was never meant to be done alone. and i’m so grateful i get to do it with people i absolutely love. let’s keep building. 🤝 ps. where shall we host the next one? 👀

Amazing 2 days with a bunch of business owners and allied health professionals, talking business and life. Great guest speakers @dainwalker and @giorgiogenius . Both had different ways of discussing one core thing I’ve been exploring and working on with myself and my patients. Your core wounds, limiting beliefs, identities and the stories you tell yourself are the block stopping you from achieving your outcomes. For me, these 2 days cemented what I’ve learnt and have been pursuing to educate more people on. Big shout out to @aldrinocsing and @thegerrytam for creating a space for business owners to be vulnerable and share the struggles and wins. Also great to catch up with a lot of old uni mates and colleagues along the way. I’ll sit and reflect back on these two days and will share more on these topics. Keep your eyes peeled 👀

Uncle Jin 170kg x8 PR Followed by 160kg 3x8 PR Jin's been training with me the last 5 weeks. In that time we've stripped things back, focusing on technique tweaks and building his volume tolerance. Funnily enough, after his intro week, he's been hitting volume PR's weekly across the board, setting up a great foundation for strength work to come. The plan is to work to 200-220kg before we unlock god mode and introduce the belt back in to training. Did they match up to the hype? Well yes and no. I could definitely breathe more effortlessly wearing these, but this particular style of nose strips had it's draw backs. It's cool to have 4 different sizes to pick from, just make sure you use the size just slightly bigger than your nose. This will put less stress on the magnetic adhesive strips to stay on, you just don't be about to maximise the opening. But for the majority of us, we just want a little assistance. The magnetic strips struggle to stay attached for a few different reasons ▫️ Using to big of a nasal strip ▫️ Knocking/removing the plastic strip ▫️ Sweating ▫️ Body oil secretion Wearing them to sleep, I was paranoid about knocking them off, in which all but 1 night they did. These strips are also extremely noticeable. Both from people looking at you and your peripheral vision. So something more skin tone would be better to blend in if that makes you uncomfortable. If you do manage to keep the magnetic strips down for a while, be warned that they will smell of sweat. What's next?
