Congratulations to the 2026 cohort of graduates from the City of Las Vegas and United Way Nonprofit Navigator Program. 👩🏽‍🎓

As a presenter for their first session; I wasn’t sure what we were getting them into. Yes, we want to share all the good things we’ve done and the accomplishment of running a non-profit organization for many years but I wanted to make sure they knew - it is hard. There are no shortcuts, there are nights you don’t sleep, you’re the director: the organizer, the janitor; whatever is needed in the moment. And while we make mistakes, none of us were born knowing this stuff; never give up. Dust yourself off and try again.

Congratulations on their commitment to completing the program, to their community and most importantly to themselves.

Thanks to the City of Las Vegas and United Way for allowing Dream Big Nevada and myself to participate in continuing to grow our communities resources. 💜 Adelante!

(Of course I did 💁🏽‍♀️💐)

For women who enjoy premium cigars, quiet luxury, and taking a moment to themselves after a long day, this is what unwinding should feel like. Jack & Sadie’s is creating a refined cigar lounge experience in Las Vegas centered on hospitality, atmosphere, and connection.

Tag a woman who deserves a moment to relax, reflect, and recharge.

Today was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

At the 16th Opportunity Youth Convening, we heard directly from an incredible youth panel who shared stories of survival, perseverance, and success. Their courage was inspiring, but their stories also challenged us to think differently.

One message stayed with me: we have to figure out how to ensure every student has a responsible adult or mentor to help them navigate. These young people have the desire, the resilience, and the will to succeed. What they often need is someone to help them navigate the journey—someone who can encourage them, open doors, and remind them they don’t have to do it alone.

JBM Strategic Partners is honored to stand alongside @wcnevada @newwaystowork and so many dedicated partners committed to Disrupting the Disconnected Youth Pipeline. When we invest in relationships, mentorship, and opportunity, we don’t just change individual lives—we strengthen entire communities.

I’m grateful to be part of this conversation and even more committed to turning these conversations into action.

Another successful Mumu's, Money, & Mimosas! Our crew has embraced the trend, but we discuss money strategies: saving, investing, budgeting, real estate, and of course, our relationship to money, what our introduction to money was, and working through money traumas. Our space is sacred, and what is said here stays here. We encourage, support, affirm, and uplift each other. And we do it all looking fabulous in our mumu's, sipping mimosas, and enjoying our sisterhood. How is your crew embracing the Mumu's and mimosas trend? #MumusMoneyAndMimosas #sisterhood #MumusAndMimosas #FinancialFreedom #WealthBuilding

Grateful for the opportunity to present this morning alongside Children’s Advocacy Alliance and the Nevada Department of Education at the Economic Wellbeing Policy and Practices Convening.

Today’s conversation centered on the @newwaystowork @wcnevada Opportunity Youth Coalition—and what it really takes to support young people who are disconnected from school and work with strategies that are coordinated, data-informed, and grounded in real-world opportunity.

When policy, education, and community partners align, we don’t just talk about impact—we build pathways that change lives. This is the work. This is why it matters.
