After talking to so many women and hearing other stories , it just makes me appreciate my surgeon even more. When you're researching surgeons for your lipedema journey, make sure you find the right one for you. I've talked before about how you can't just go by before and after pictures. So much more goes into this. #lipedema #lipedemasurgery #lipedemalegs #boardcertifiedplasticsurgeon

🫧 WHAT IF 19 MINUTES COULD CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY? I condensed our 56-minute LIVE into 19 minutes of the conversations I think are worth hearing. 🎥✨ Dr. Alexander Borsand @rxo2_hbot is truly a wealth of knowledge, and we covered HBOT before and after surgery, tissue healing, inflammation, energy, sleep, recovery—and frequency: how often should you actually be doing HBOT? A huge thank you to Dr. Borsand for taking the time to share his knowledge, experience, and perspective with all of us. 🩵 📚 Want to learn more? I’ve added two resources to the link in my bio: • Hyperbaric Chamber Course • HBC in Cosmetic Surgery Whether you’re a provider or a patient, there are some great takeaways in this one. 19 minutes. ✨ Congratulations to our DOUBLE VIP BLEU DOLL! 💙✨🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 This beautiful client first came to us in ✅2024 after her 🥇 surgery for liposuction of the legs. She has lived with lymphedema for most of her life and shared how painful the swelling and nodules had become.😞 From the very beginning, she knew this would be a journey—and that a second surgery would likely be necessary. For Round 2, she traveled to 📍Dr. Hagopian in Atlanta, where she underwent liposuction and a leg lift. After researching his work and seeing the results firsthand, it’s clear he has extensive experience treating patients with lymphedema and lipedema. 💙 And here’s something many people don’t know… Insurance helped cover part 👀👀👀of her surgical costs! Every case is different, but it’s always worth asking your provider and insurance company about your options.📲 Just look at her incredible before-and-after transformation! We are so honored to be part of her recovery journey and help guide her through the healing process.🙏🏽 🎥 Want to see what happened behind the scenes? Be sure to watch our YouTube video to follow the rest of her recovery and hear more about her experience. 📍 Book your post-op lymphatic drainage massage today: 🌐 http://www.bleuht19.com 📍 4020 Barrett Drive, Suite 108 Raleigh, NC 27609 Recovery is a journey—and we’re here every step of the way. *disclaimer this lifestyle is not for everyone!! 😱 💙 Have a nice Bleu day! #VIPBleuDoll #Lymphedema #Lipedema #PostOpRecovery #LymphaticDrainage

7.5 weeks post-op and I'm finally experiencing a significant reduction in swelling! The relief is immense and everything feels lighter. After a minor setback with a wound opening in my armpit around 2 weeks post-op, which required wound care, I'm excited to see it's almost fully healed. This second surgery has been a mental challenge, but the emotional struggles have been worth it. I'm overjoyed to be living in a body that's finally free of lipedema fat, starting to feel like it was meant to be. The physical transformation is just the beginning - I've got a newfound sense of confidence and gratitude for my health. Thank you Hagopian Plastic Surgery for helping me unlock this new chapter of my life! With one more surgery to go, I'm excited to see the incredible progress I'll continue to make. Who is this person?! Look at the arms!

Lipedema is hormonally triggered condition in women that causes diseased fat that can not be metabolized by the body. The only way to remove it is through surgery. Women of all shapes and sizes can have lipedema although it is commonly associated with obesity and it certainly increases as you gain weight throughout life. By the time I realized that I had it , I had already lost 100 pounds of regular fat. I was left with a lot of skin and lumpy lipedema nodules that were disfiguring. I've had four removal surgeries and I admittedly look better than expected. This isn't by accident. If you have lipedema removed, you can expect soft , squishy skin an overall appearance. I am very conciously working to a build a physique I'm proud of. It takes work everyday, fine tuning nutrition, progressive overload , and I use Pilates to fine tune , yoga for mobility , flexibility, balance, and mental health. It's an entire process, that is deliberate and guided by a professional. When women message me , complaining of their post surgical results , I can only share my experience. But my experience is, surgical lipedema removal doesn't necessarily equate with aesthetic cosmetic results. You have to do way more than surgery. Surgery is just the beginning. #lipedemasurgery #lipedemanutrition #pilates #progressiveoverload#midlifefitness

A huge THANK YOU to: Dr. Beidas @drbodycontouring Lindsy Dani Rachel For welcoming me into your world 🫶🏼. It's because of opportunities like this, I am able to grow. I don’t enhance my post-operative care from the outside looking in — I embrace it from where it all begins. Surgical observation is not an accessory to education — it is the bridge between surgery and recovery. 🤝 Collaboration 🎓 Education 🩺 Clinical integration 🌍 Global vision 🔑 Key to success This is how the standard of care changes. #RaisingTheStandardOfCare #PostOpEducation #LipedemaSurgery #LymphaticSpecialist #SurgicalObservation
