Spliti’n Lanes – Brooklyn – 9-13-26

Been waiting on the film from the Spliti’n Lanes show for a bit. Inside the event was amazing but outside - damn. So many great people kept showing up. I shot until I ran out of film.

Only digital shot is of David Carlo…because I ran out of film. So wonderful to meet David in person. I won one of his books in a raffle in 2024 and his work is inspiring.

Massive thanks you to Tim @seeeverything and Girard @basket_case_productions for gathering incredible motorcycles and people.

A few shots from the @themotosocial gathering at @tildeathnyc last week. Grateful for nights like these - to see friends - big hugs, big laughs - I get to make dumb jokes and take pictures of the beautiful people that ride in NYC. A mix of film and digital. Sometimes the last shot of the roll gets cut off… #themotosocial #yashicamat124g #fuji400hpro #ishootfılm

Last Sunday, I had the privilege of riding and photographing the 2026 NYC Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. My participation in this ride, born out of loss, makes me exceedingly happy every year. This year was no different – a nice ride through the city on a beautiful sunny day with a police escort that was not chasing me.
Thanks to my amazing donors – I raised $1260 to kick cancer in the teeth and support mental health issues – bringing our total since 2015 to $39K. Big ups to the extended Mitchell, Gallagher, Skar, and Gomez clan, Stacey Young, Mike Higgins, Joe Denivo, Christian Minara, Karen Lockwood, Jamie Slater, Tom McKeown, Aisha Joseph, Julie Spencer, Ricky!!!, and my wife and kids for your generous donations. Donations are open till May 31st if you would still like to contribute.
I shot a ton of digital and film photographs including portraits at the Gotham Depot Moto afterparty. Huge thanks to Stefon and Ronnie for everything. Here are the initial photos. The nice people at NYC Motorcyclist will post the full gallery soon.
Thanks to the organizers, the sponsors, the supporters and the attendees for making this year’s DGR fantastic.
Thank you. You rule. F cancer. Stay positive. #dgr2026 #dgrnyc2026 #dgrnyc #rolleiflex, #ishootfılm

What an absolutely perfect day for @gentlemansride #dgrnyc2026 yesterday. Had a blast all around!

Really great meeting some new faces and, as always, seeing a lot of familiar ones too.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride supports men’s mental health, suicide prevention and funds research for cancer.

It’s a pretty incredible thing to see thousands of people riding together for something bigger than motorcycles.

For a lot of us, those causes hit close to home. They unfortunately do for me.

If you’re not familiar with DGR @gentlemansride , definitely check it out or consider registering for a ride someday.

It’s time for the Distinguished @GentlemansRide again. As long time supporters, we’re proud to help host the NYC ride and do our part to raise awareness and funds for mens health through the @Movember Foundation. Our very own @higginsnyc will be hosting NYC for his 10th year! If you’d like to help, please donate at:
