We are back at it with mix 115 from @flexblur, a producer/DJ hailing from Dijon, France. With releases on notable footwork loving labels like @moveltraxx , @nu_kvlture , and @lefrenchwork Flex Blur has been exploring several styles over the past 20 years. Taking his influences from video game music, IDM, and various Bass Music, he started composing electronic music on PlayStation with Music 2000 before moving on to PC, while also practicing various instruments as he aims to blend different universes and create unique productions crafted with striking drums and ethereal moods. This mix is an ode to Chicago footwork pioneers, mixed with his own productions and music by friends. Link in bio! Get into the sound🔊

THIS FRIDAY: DECEMBER 6
Label Night: Kindergarten with Ayesha, Darwin b2b Hodge, Despina, Drummy, Ma Sha, Sobolik • 10 pm – close

@kindergarten_ny has evolved from a backyard party series into a burgeoning label since the pandemic days. Known for their collaborative efforts with up-and-coming Brooklyn-based artists, their progression reflects their investment in the New York City dance community.

Kindergarten has received accolades from international mainstays such as REEF label-head @darwin_reef and Bristol-based sonic sorcerer @hodgebristol, who team up for a bossy back to back. Core residents — Ayesha (@ayescold), @despina_mp3, @drummy__, @ma_sha_music, and @e_sobolik — will break it down in family style fashion, bringing a fusion of expansive dancefloor genres to the fore.

///

RSVP is available on Resident Advisor for $10 entry before 11 pm and $15 entry before midnight Friday nights.

@thezumbador serves home-style Mexican food on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights until 4 am and opens back up at 8 am on Sunday.

This Friday! Kindergarten Label Night at @nowadaysnyc 💚🔐

Can’t believe it’s already here — time really flies🪽We’re beyond excited to wrap up the year with a night that’s extra special to us, featuring two of our absolute favorites: @darwin_reef and @hodgebristol 🥵🔥

It’s a family affair 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, as always, with Kindergarten residents @ayescold @despina_mp3 @drummy__ @ma_sha_music @e_sobolik holding it down with two B2B2B sets to keep the energy flowing ⛲️ all night long.

Photo from our Kindergarten takeover at @stream_informer in Glenn Falls last year — ready to bring the same love and family vibes 🫂 to the Nowadays floor.
