our time together on the floor has officially fleeted. MFMS: Meraki 2026 started off with a huge sense of unpredictability for me. I knew my heart was here, and I truly felt like the universe and my soul were directed to come back here for my 3rd year. With me being the only MFMS veteran to return, it felt like a huge weight was placed on my shoulders. Will we continue the momentum of the crank of those before us? Can we improve and curate a culture of undeniable love and honor? Can we handle the heat even when our bodies and brains are already fried? Can we strive until the very very end to reach that undeniable energy and excellence? The answer is yes. From day 1, you guys gave it your all, devoted your soul and character to nurture the bigger picture/ideas, invited me into your worlds with open arms, and the biggest privilege? The trust we all have for each other, and the love for the game we never lost despite the battles both lost and won through our time here together. Thank you, it is an honor and privilege that I out of all people was the one chosen to be the center for you 7. I love you guys so much. ありがとう <3 Meraki Ensemble: You are the pressure. You are the hammer. You are that MF. Carry that everywhere, regardless of if it’s band or not. Remember that regardless of how old, young, inexperienced, experienced one is, hard work, dedication, and putting your Meraki into your work will speak for you. That part of your soul speaks louder than any hardship, pain, evil, or sadness this world unfortunately experiences too often. Thank you for being people full of energy and joy, making the weekend a lot easier to attack. I hope you all took away something more valuable than words from our journey this season. <3 Thank you members and staff for an unforgettable experience of drums once again. “Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away.” Words can’t explain how proud, blessed, and grateful I am to have been here this year. ❤️ FID

Meraki 2026 ⏳ - There are so many amazing things I could say about this season. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to march Meraki this year. This organization has taught me so much about the activity, I got the opportunity to experience different areas of the culture that I’ve always dreamed of experiencing, I got to march next to 7 of the best people I’ve ever met in this activity, and I wouldn’t trade any of it. - Fleeting has been my favorite show to perform in my marching career so far. I felt a strong connection to our show, our beats, our drill, the homies on the floor, the culture around us, and the staff in front of us. I have so much love for the MFMS and the Meraki organization. I’m so grateful that Meraki decided to give me a chance, despite the 2,000+ mile commute to/from every rehearsal weekend. - Starting now, the rest of my seasons are my last. The previous seasons have all fleeted away. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve in my remaining time. Time to start drumming on a tilt. - Meraki 2026 Fleeting ⏳🤍

I had a pretty cool summer man! Got to hang out with Paul, SCV and @hueiyuanpan for @ensembleblock Met Gumby for the first time, met up with Rob of DCCS again, got to know Drew of the SCV snareline, and met my former online student @jp_doods_drums in person. Plus band camp with the @torrancehighdrumline gang and met Donovan for the first time in person at thy SCPA Director's summit 😀 How cool was your summer?
