THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME NEW YORK.
The biggest show I’ve ever done and you guys brought the ENERGY. Still feels surreal to have left, but boy did we go out with a bang.

So… I guess this is it. These last two years have been the most incredible years of my life, and I feel so unbelievably privileged to have experienced everything that I have. I moved to New York in 2024 to study music at Berklee, but I never dreamt of how much it would change my life. Not only did I make my first studio album, but I had the chance to create so much from it. Spending time on visuals and live renditions allowed me to reach thousands of people, and to perform it on stage countless times. I never ever thought that I’d be sharing music that I thought of in my bedroom with so many people. I am so truly touched that my art could reach so many.

Aside from the music, I was able to build the most beautiful and supportive community. I have never been so lucky to have so many people that I love around me. I have spent my time here surrounded by so many incredibly talented artists, and so many genuinely wonderful and kind people. I will cherish every single friendship that I have made. I was also lucky enough to meet my best friend, and partner - the most genuinely beautiful, talented and kindest soul I have ever met.

I’m sitting on the plane right now, flying away from what feels like my entire world, feeling a little lost but unbelievably fulfilled. As I’m reading over messages from so many of these wonderful people that I have been lucky enough to meet, all I know for sure is that my time here was truly meaningful. I would not change a single moment, and that’s all that I could ask for. Thank you, New York, for everything you’ve given me. I can’t wait to come back one day and experience it all over again. Until next time.

Guys @ary_kumar is leaving and that’s SO lame BUTTT you can catch him tomorrow night for his goodbye show before this beloved country kicks him out. Ary’s one of those rare combinations of good person AND musician, and in the age of ai and industry hustle, his music is so refreshingly thoughtful and deeply human. I’m so fking excited to share the stage with him and @muunji.wav for a song tmrw night. And I shall sob when it all ends and I’ll have to say goodbye to a new friend :/
