Today is a very very special day in our household, because it’s the 7th anniversary of Jordan and I rescuing Vada from the shelter!!

We consider today to also be her 10th BIRTHDAY!! Since we have no idea when this lady came to be

Every year we celebrate Vada’s birthday by letting her rustle through some gift bags to find her presents. She is obsessed with a tissue paper rustling moment.

I’m so grateful she’s in our lives because she is so spunky, smart and silly. I can’t help, but find her as my muse in my artwork.

She made a surprise visit to vend at my last art market with me!

Vada’s a gamer girl at heart. I have a cat bench next to my pc set up so she can watch me play!

She loves reggae and dub & will throw her paws up to dance to her favorite music. I am not kidding

And she’s always there for me. With every project I’ve worked on.

I was so busy hosting the art show that I didn’t get the chance to take a single photo on my camera! But I was able to make a message drop box with the question, “what are you grateful for?”. The first slide is just a taste of what everyone shared. This is why we do it.

Thank you to everyone who came by the shop to support all of the amazing artists & creatives here for “A Community in Bloom”. Thank you @lvartistmeetup @brandonalwayscreates for always putting these together with me & @hues_of_bluez for joining us on the graveyard shift to hang everything. The next group show is in June and we already can’t wait!

These posts & the art shows might come and go, but the impact we make on each other’s lives inside these four walls will live on forever. That’s what I’m grateful for. This weekend feels like a story out of a book I didn’t even realize I was reading. I don’t want to sound like a broken record- but thank you to everyone who supports @homebase610 I hope you know without you, there is no us.

🌟I’m feeling extremely grateful today after my second time vending at the Ice House’s Lehigh Valley Punk Rock Flea Market (thanks to the awesome hosts @tapeswapradio / @icehouse.diy ). 🌟

A decade ago, when I was a senior in high school, I first heard about the concept of a Punk Rock Flea Market.

And there happened to be one that was happening in Lancaster that spring.

I ended up making the drive to check it out & was able to meet up with my long time internet friend @joedoc.wav for the first time there!

It ended up being a blast & I bought so much. It felt like i struck gold coming back with my haul from that event.

It’s wild now that I get be on the vendor side sharing my creations at these events with you all.

Thank you all endlessly. If you’ve ever liked, interacted, shared, showed up, inspired, helped me work my booth (@drvvco & @bold___ham ) or supported- it’s nothing but big love ❤️‍🔥

Today marks 7 years with Jordan, and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way 💞

The reason I have the motivation to create so much could have never happened if Jordan never came in my life. It feels more than incredible to have a supportive, talented and loving partner who lets me be the truest version of my self with him.

Here’s to the next 7+ years
