Dermatology remains the most competitive specialty to match into in 2025. It’s important to note that just applying means you were already an exceptional candidate.

It’s not an easy path, and it’s only getting harder, but if dermatology is your dream, don’t let the numbers scare you. Go after it! It’s worth it. It’s one of the best careers in medicine. If you ask me, it is THE BEST path ;)

#1. Here i am just about to start residency having never had any botox injected into my forehead where 2 two very deep creases are evident. :-/

2) Now 10 years later, having completed dermatology residency and next working 6 + years in private practice I have had consistent botox (performed by myself). AND LOOK…. NO LINES. Still looking fresh in 2020;-)
