Here’s a promo for us doing the USDC in 2013 - as you can see the production is improving because by this stage we had done it in its entirety 3 times plus each individual event countless numbers. @matt___clinton from reality check competed and created this clip. We had. 3 gyms locations prior to this so this was way after we began the process and started the refining. You will recognise a number of our awesome attackers and competitors too. These guys played a huge role in what it’s become.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation circling about the USDC and it’s origin. I have a YouTube video that explains it in full, here’s a short from it. We have video of us performing each of the drills 10-20 years ago. Thanks to Rokas for his help filming it. The WestCom crew shed a lot of blood sweat and tears over the past 20 years to develop it all. #usdc #ultimateselfdefensechampionship #wsdc #worldofselfdefence

What a week, it was!

First up thanks tLisa Lightning Walker for her support & assistance with everything. Thanks to David for helping with the prep the organisation, the ideas & the hours prior to it beginning.

Thanks to the WestCom Crew ,You make the show! @mistermacleod

Thanks to my friends who dropped in to lend a hand, Dave & Antman.

Thanks to our sponsors SMAI, Soul Sports & our mystery one!
Thanks to Scott from Sharper fitness for first making his gym our new HQ & making is the base for events. All the assistance you provided and the hospitality was amazing!
To Tama & Jamie from Brofit for allowing us to film a segment in their facility. For anyone I forgot, i apologise, I’m running on empty!

The competitors gave us many great sequences & teaching moments. You all should be proud!

Big thanks to @Paulo the filmmaker extraordinaire who took a chance on a guy he didn’t like haha!

And to Mick we took this to a whole new level thanks to you and your expertise. The fact you were there meant we were doing a good thing!

This series will be different to the previous two I created as we are educators & that was the focus of the event moreso than clicks & likes. I feel what we’ve created something special that can be used as a resource for those involved in managing violence and aggression or general self defence. Something that can be used to help people .

I can’t wait to see it!
