IChoose Joy brunch is dedicated to celebrating, honoring, and recognizing some of our community’s true warriors—our sisters and brothers who have faced immense trials and challenges and emerged as more than conquerors. Today, we set aside this time to love and uplift one another, shining a spotlight on milestones big and small—whether one year, five years, or decades in remission—and affirming each survivor’s remarkable journey and perseverance.

Happy Wellness Wednesday! 🌿✨

July is Minority Health Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on the unique health challenges faced by minority communities and to promote equitable access to health resources. Today, we’re also focusing on men’s mental health, breaking the stigma, and encouraging open conversations about emotional well-being.

Special shoutout to my frat brother, Chris, who is proudly sporting his “Manifesting Healing” shirt! 🙌🏽 Chris’s wellness strategies include prayer, photography, and golf. These activities help him stay grounded, creative, and active.

Brothers, what are your wellness strategies? Share them in the comments below! Let’s support each other on our journey to better health. 💬👇🏽

Thank You…God created us for community. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. From NC to CA, @myles.solomon has had community to keep him up. It has taken a village. Pictured or not, thank y’all! 🤝🏾
