Winning the First Prize in the Photography Contest at AIWA 2.0 Campus Carnival conducted by DSU, University of Calicut is truly a special moment for me.

First of all, my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Program Committee for creating such a wonderful platform and for all the hard work behind this carnival. A special thanks to my Department of Folklore, our HOD, teachers, and my friends for their constant support and encouragement.

As someone who is deeply passionate about photography, this opportunity means much more to me than just a prize. Having a passion, but getting a stage to express it and an audience to appreciate it, is something truly valuable.
Every student sees the colours, performances, celebrations, and excitement of a carnival. But behind that beautiful experience are countless people working quietly planning, coordinating, preparing, solving problems, and often spending sleepless nights to make everything happen.

The effort that happens behind the stage deserves just as much appreciation as what happens on it.
What makes AIWA special to me is that it gives students a chance to step beyond academics and explore their passions, talents, creativity, and even the skills they may one day turn into their professions. Giving students a platform to showcase their abilities in front of such a huge audience is truly meaningful.
To everyone who worked behind the scenes, supported the participants, and made this carnival possible thank you. Your efforts created opportunities for so many students, and I’m grateful to have been one of them.
This prize will always be a reminder that when passion finds the right platform, it becomes a beautiful memory.
