Air Jordan 16 FTY SP I did not know who or what “Free The Youth” was, and as a matter of fact, I didn’t even like the damn shoe when I saw the first pictures of them. I had never owned an Air Jordan XVI, and I thought the colorway was….weird. Then my buddy @bsufan4life63 sent me a picture of them & you know what? They didn’t look that bad. I looked a bit more & we talked and I looked a bit more and we talked, suddenly I started to think okay, that’s an alright shoe, but knowing how limited they were, I didn’t stand a chance to get them, plus the steep retail price, I was okay to miss them, even if I wanted them. About 2 weeks ago, @dt.fyb texted me completely out of the blue saying that he hit on an extra pair in my size & he would be glad to let me get them. I played it cool, but secretly….I was THRILLED. From West Africa to here, the @freetheyouth_ghana team has a major hit on their hands. The green and orange accents representing Ghana, the wrapping paper being s photo straight from the harbor city of Tema, taken by the brands founders. The brand included the late founder Shace Mensah’s quote, “WE SUCCEEDED IN GIVING THE PEOPLE HOPE”, followed by the eagle symbol included on the heel , as well as the box, representing vision and the brands message of upliftment. Some pairs look cool. Some add to hype. Some feed the streets & some are accessories for the famous. This pair feels good for the soul. It tells a story, represents a community that deserves representation, and delivers hope, something that is rare in a material item. For some reason lately, 3’s have had me in a chokehold. I know they’re one of the greatest pairs ever made. The one that saved the line, & one of Tinker’s greatest creations. Personally, getting a few pairs of @maniere_usa 3’s is what really really got me. There’s just something about the quality of leather, the upholstery like lining on the inside, the messages on the shoe and what it stands for, it’s powerful stuff. And last but not least, definitely definitely not least, the true blue’s re released and I have been able to get a proper retro set. I think I was reading a comparison and the parson said it really well when he discussed the 2016 pair. He had basically called it an embarrassing re creation of an otherwise incredible pair. And I agreed. So now, being able to have the 4 OG’s, the Luxury of the AMM’s & the free throw line and Solefly pair, I’m very very happy with where I’m at and have definitely added to my list of pairs I need to go get….. ……except let’s be real here, both girls birthdays are in August, and Chico Patriots Travel Softball is in full effect, I’m going to need to start asking @kristina.withuh.k if we can sell feet pics to pay for some things 😂😂😂 BuySneakersNotDrugs 🧽soak up the world around you /Ill = create positive momentum 🦋= small things can make big change “It’s the Stories that Matter.” #WDYWT

2001 Air Jordan 1 ; Banned, Bred, Black/Red, etc. #8543 out of 14984 OG Face Box, Silver Jumpman Keychain, & Retro Card. A pair I’ve wanted for a very, very long time. It doesn’t get much better than this either. I have wanted this sneaker for years. Now in today’s climate, when it comes to buying and collecting sneakers; if you have an unlimited budget then no pair is really out of reach. Unfortunately, for myself, I have a budget, so the chase or “the hunt” then becomes scouring the internet, eBay listings, private sellers, and just keeping your eyes open. The deals are still out there, especially now, you just have to put in the leg work or effort online & be patient. Years went by, I finally had my chance, & I took it. I could not be happier. This pair really just makes my heart happy. I remember being a kid and seeing the older, “cool kids” have these, and just being blown away. Absolutely blown away. But of course, I was freaking 9 years old. Little did I know, 24 years later, I’d have them. Thank you @GOAT for not fucking this order up. The two biggest releases of the year have came & went. The hype was real, the releases were chaotic, and resale has been all over the place. My only question is now at this point, are either of these in your running for sneaker of the year, and if not, what do you have that tops these? I’m genuinely curious and want to know. Kobe V Protro “Caitlin Clark ROTY” I really enjoy @caitlinclark22 , not just because she’s an amazing player and has a ton of talent, heart and courage on the court; but because as my daughter has began to take her own athletic career seriously, Caitlin Clark was one of the first athletes we watched together, who really showed her how special and how well a woman can be in her own sport. It’s important that young women continue to have positive role models that encourage them be all they can be athletically. I absolutely love these PE releases, I hope I am able to get the upcoming pair & at some point, the Kobe 6 pair too. 🧱Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP BA Aka; The Nigel Sylvester Air Jordan4 “Brick After Brick” 🧱 Look, I’ll keep it short & get straight to the point. Unlike @nigelsylvester, 1 am NOT Aa large black man who has a supreme talent for BMX riding & creating and designing sneakers, apparel, music and marketing. I know, I know. While that may come as a shock to some, I have indeed come to terms with it. 🧱One thing we do share however, and what continues to draw me towards the collab between Nigel & @jumpman23, is the story telling. At its very core, regardless of what the meaning of the bricks are today, we are witnessing the telling of the story of a young man who-from nothing, with nothing, became what he is today. 🧱Whether you understand BMX culture, the sport, or any of the innuendos and references the once red clay building and housing bricks from the first pair, turned textured, pricey, raw and wrapped up to ship and move (see what I did there), I know I understand, and respect the story. 🧱In the end, that’s what matters most. Products come and go, but the memory & the story, thats what matters most. That’s is what’s the most important and lives forever.

Air Jordan 1 Low. ▪️OG Chicago ▪️85 Royal ▪️OG Black Toe BY FAR my most worn sneakers. They’re cheap (relatively), the most iconic colorways have released lately, easy to slip on, looks good with shorts and pants, I mean the damn shoe is even better looking at times the more you wear it. They’re perfect, and the OG colorways are a must have.
