Been a little MIA lately. But I’ll make it a point to post somewhat regularly again. With that said here’s a set of Advan ONI’s I had the pleasure of refinishing for @emgeel
.
These were challenging due to the fact that they are 3 piece sandwich mounted welded wheels. This made refinishing them a little more complicated.
.
With the help of @dtdpowdercoating we stripped them, fully polished the lips, powder coated the faces satin silver and the barrels gloss sliver. Giving it an extra touch by having the engraving redone in blue. And topping it off by repolishing the lips after power once again.
.
As always thank you for the trust!

Super happy with how my KLX 140 build came out! @mtpratt32 ending up building me up a 220cc stroker motor for it and it now has gobs of power. @keystonecycleparts got me hooked up with all the parts I needed to make this thing an absolute monster.

Waste gate plague Pt.1

Here is the very first dyno session, with spending almost 4 hours on the dyno we had to call it quits, and attempt to fix the things we thought were the issue…. Waste gate line size, reference line location the question is did it work?

Find out next time on dragon ball z

Ps- This is part of new setups and racing and learning what works and doesn’t I’m greatfull for all the people answering my questions

Well, lessons learned lol to pick the right cerakote and not one that just looked cool for color because it matters, with the midnight bronze we orignally picked it was a H series color and only rated for 350/400 degrees, so when installed it flaked almost immediately. So did some research and had everything redone in the C series range, which is about burnt bronze color and rated for 2000 degrees. Thanks to the boys @dtdpowdercoating for getting it done, this is a air cure style and not a oven cure, we will see how it is 5days from now, lesson learned and knowledge gained, at least my setup comes off in about 20 mins with ease.
