Dinner was over. But dessert had other plans. 🌼

At the D’Amico Family Dinner, guests left the table to find drinks waiting—and a few more reasons to linger. Chocolate mendiants met the cherry cocktail, then Henderson Flower Co. took over the gathering space with a late-summer flower stand where the blooms were, quite literally, good enough to eat.

The desserts, imagined by @pastryleah, included Chocolate Rose Brownies, Summer Fruit Crostatas, Floral Lollipop Bouquets, Milk Chocolate Raspberry “Flower Pots,” Orange Blossom Shortbread Cookies, Grilled Strawberry Honeysuckle Shortcakes and Lemon Elderflower Macarons.

And then, Eat Your Veggies. A roaming box of sweets disguised as produce, with meringue mushrooms, sugar cookie cabbage truffles, chocolate cherry tomatoes and white chocolate carrot cheesecake cones, all nestled into chocolate “dirt.”

The market may have been closing, but apparently dessert had one more stop to make.

At D’Amico Hospitality, every busy event season brings new opportunities and exciting celebrations. But before it all begins, we take time to invest in what makes our company truly exceptional, our people.

This spring we held our annual Season Kickoff. It was more than a team gathering, it was an opportunity for employees from across all of our venues, kitchens, and departments to come together, learn from one another, and prepare for a successful season ahead.

Held at @metropolitaneventsmn, our kickoff focused heavily on professional development, reinforcing our belief that career growth is just as important as business growth. Through educational sessions, team discussions, collaborative learning opportunities, and tastings of our new seasonal menus, employees gained valuable insights into leadership, communication, hospitality trends, and operational excellence.

It took a village to build this event, and a dedicated duo to tell the story. This win is for every single person who played a part behind the scenes.#ilea #ileastarawards2026 #awardwinning #bettertogether

We are proud to shine a light on the award for Best Public Event at the 2026 @ileamsp Star Awards, submitted by @rachelbruzek and @lilian.raine.

This award recognizes the unforgettable experience we created at Nicollet Mall, where we transformed the street into an exquisite communal table for Twin Cities food lovers in partnership with @dinnerdunord. Guests enjoyed a meticulously curated three-course meal, beginning with a delightful pear salad paired with Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio, followed by a refreshing surprise amuse-bouche: tomato water with a vegetable skewer drizzled in dill oil.

For the main course, diners had a choice of braised short rib from Campiello or an elegant vegetable pave from D’Amico Cucina for our vegetarian guests, both accompanied by di Majo Norante Cabernet Sauvignon. To conclude the evening, attendees savored a decadent D’Amico & Sons chocolate mascarpone torte paired with Amaro Montenegro. As a sweet reminder of the night, guests received an edible pressed flower shortbread cookie.

A special thank you to everyone who participated in this remarkable culinary celebration. We also wish to acknowledge our incredible team and partners who made this unforgettable experience possible:

THE @hiddenstreamfarm UNBOXING!

Chef @dtjb00 told us how excited he was to get his first delivery from local family farm, @hiddenstreamfarm and now we get to see inside! As we begin to settled, the team here at @cabanaannas hopes to partner with more local food producers, aiming to bring freshness along side a sense of community. Many local agriculturists struggle to find homes for their amazing products, and we hope to be a local solution to easily get their high quality products into the stomachs of guests from near and far!

This legend came in three times last week for Chef Josh’s Nauti French Toast. 🙌 But he also casually dropped, “You know what I really want? A sticky bun.”

So last night, when he rolled in for dinner, Chef hit him with the ol’ sticky bun surprise. 🥹💥

Because at Cabana Anna’s, we remember your name and your dessert cravings. 🍯❤️
