#RiseFromTheAshes was such a vibe!!! @historiclincolnheights really brought the energy to #WeedCalifornia!!! Give thanks @preacherman_nc for fulfilling this amazing vision to bring upliftment to the community after the fire!!! Respect @ssking for calling in @innerstandingsound and hosting such a sweet crew of homies!!! Give thanks @arkitek777 and @honeywineclay for holding the Vibes in Weed and always sharing special times!! @mrmarlonasher and @arkaingelle plus the 2 world class bands really brought the vibes!!! And the stand up by @dtyler916 and @kulblack was really impressive. Was great to have some hip hop represented by @530cg!!! And got to give a big shout out to My son Nehemiah, @trntknnth and @rasbrigaddier for helping make the sound set up and take down so smooth and pleasant!!!And what a joy to donitvall@under the holy Mount Shasta!!!

This was a really fun one for @innerstandingsound!!! Got to play selection all day between sets, ran the bass and kick drum through the stack for the bands and had a nice hour plus set at the end for the skanking crew!!! It’s been a real struggle to push this roots and culture sound system movement here in Cali. Despite the crowd not being what is in Europe I’m feeling so blessed to have these opportunities to tap in with different communities (with amazing geologies and ecosystems) and introduce them to our genre (dubwise modern sound system roots reggae) and our instrument (the sound system). Excited to tap in and play the sound in many underserved regions out here in NorCal. Anyone interested in booking us or supporting promotions tap in cause we will be touching the ground in Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonoma and Calaveras in the coming quarters…

Vibes and vibes!!!

Come out this Saturday and enjoy some reggae music in #WeedCalifornia at the base of Mount Shasta!!! Let’s celebrate life and soak in the healing vibrations of uplifting roots music…

#RiseFromTheAshes is a fundraiser to help community members in #LincolnHeights, (one of the oldest African American neighborhoods in Northern California), who lost their homes in the 2022 Mill Fire. Let’s bring some strength and joy to the community after this tragedy. Spread the word and rally the community!!!
