THE TREE OF BASIRAH

Basirah is often translated as insight, inner sight, or perception beyond the obvious.

The Tree of Basirah is a lens.

A framework we use to explore the relationship between perception, understanding, recognition, and action.

Like a tree, every visible thing begins from something unseen.

Roots beneath the surface.

Branches reaching beyond what is immediately visible.

Fruit emerging from a process we do not always notice.

Through this lens, we explore how we see, how we understand, how we recognize, and how we live.

The Tree of Basirah is not about having all the answers.

It is about learning to ask better questions.

It is a reminder that what we repeatedly notice shapes what we understand, and what we understand shapes the reality we experience.

In the coming posts, we will explore the different parts of the tree, the principles they represent, and the Names through which we reflect upon them.

For now, let this serve as an introduction.

A seed.

An invitation to look deeper.

We see.
We discern.
We understand.
We remember.

MARY — THE MIND

The womb of perception.

Before a thought becomes a belief,
before a belief becomes an action,
it is carried within the mind.

The 19 symbolizes a dual architecture.

The 1 and the 9—
two poles of perception,
two modes of understanding,
two reflections within the same vessel.

One perceives structure.
One perceives meaning.

Between them,
reality is interpreted.

The mind is not merely a container of thoughts.

It is the mirror through which the world is organized.

What you repeatedly perceive,
you begin to believe.

What you believe,
you begin to embody.

Perception is the womb.
Reality is the child.

MARY — THE MIND.

19: The Architecture of Perception.

Reality speaks.
Perception translates.

The world you experience is built from the structures you cannot see.

What are you building?
