“People don’t understand the term dubstep. They don’t know where it comes from. They don’t know the culture and the history so we’re just going to make this little community for ourselves where we’ll just share the tunes that we love.” I wanna say a huge THANK YOU to @ariella__puma / @dub.stepping for getting me down to do my first full-length chat as part of her @moderadio.london IWD scheduling last week ⏪⏪⏪ You can check out the full chat via the link in my bio ✧ wish the chat was longer tbf, I feel like we only skimmed the surface with a lot of these questions! 💅 nails are @byindz p.s. pls ignore my very small lisp 🥹 I’m still getting used to having weird plastic (aka invisalign) in my mouth 🤧

Happy International Women’s Day! Today, I want to celebrate all the incredible women I’ve had the honor of working with over the past year—women on their fertility , pregnancy & breastfeeding journeys and the birth workers reclaiming the sacred, and those healing deep ancestral wounds. Your strength and resilience continue to inspire me every day. But today, I also want to shine a special light on two phenomenal young women—my daughters—who embody the power, creativity, and determination of this generation. One, Francesca is a dedicated teacher, guiding and supporting students through the challenges of GCSEs and A-levels. The other is a powerhouse, @ariella__puma a teaching assistant by day and a DJ by night, carving her own space in the music scene with @dub.stepping. In response to International Women’s Day, she is hosting an all-day female marathon at @moderadio.london amplifying the talent of women in the industry. She’s bold, talented, and completely owning her space! You’d never think that this was the same girl who once battled anxiety. But here she is, thriving, interviewing the incredible Sicaria, and proving that women can break through any barriers in their way. Check out her interview here: https://youtu.be/_dW5iKmkzqU?si=MzENcQ_9PoA_ees_ Today, we honor all women—the ones who came before us, the ones standing beside us, and the ones shaping the future. Keep shining, keep rising! #InternationalWomensDay #WomenWhoInspire #BreakingBarriers #moderadiolondon #WomenInMusic #dub.stepping

Meet our second DJ @shan.uk_ who will be going b2b with @thatopus on the 20th Feb on @crop.radio!! Shan is one of our favourite artists here in Manchester and it felt only right to have her open the Cultivate series ☺️ Shan has supported some insane artists like @kahnbristol & @sam_neek, @neffa_t and @sirspyro. A huge testament to her talent and one of the many reasons we can’t wait to see her play! 😈 In addition to her live shows Shan is well know for bringing together some serious midlands talent to smash a grime cypher so please enjoy this sick moment from a show on @lowertoneuk 😍 she is also a @moderadio.london resident so check out her shows and mixes! #grime #ukgrime #dubstep #dubstepmusic #grimemusic
