AI: Strategic investment or expensive gamble?

Buying AI is easy. Building the readiness to create value takes leadership.

Before scaling, ask:
• What business problem are we solving?
• Are our data and people ready?
• Who owns the decisions—and the risks?
• How will we measure success?

Readiness cannot eliminate uncertainty. It helps you decide which risks are worth taking.

Is your organisation ready—or simply spending?

From Fujairah, where challenges become achievements, we continue our passion for growing a wide variety of tropical and rare fruit trees, including snake fruit, which we have grown from seed and look forward to seeing bear fruit, God willing. By propagating and producing seedlings locally, we help reduce reliance on imports and share agricultural knowledge.

Special thanks to Hamid Al Zaabi, Dubai Media, Dubai TV, and the “Emirates News” team for this wonderful report highlighting our agricultural journey. We value our media’s role in serving the community, raising agricultural awareness, and supporting local initiatives that contribute to sustainability and food security.

Animals can’t tell us when they’re thirsty.
They can’t tell us when they’re tired, scared or hurting.
They can only trust that someone will notice.
In the UAE, we share our home with so many of them.
The cat resting in the shade of a parked car.
The birds that gather near our balconies.
The dog waiting by the door for the sound of our keys.
The desert animals that have lived here long before the cities rose.
None of them will ever say thank you.
And that’s what makes kindness toward them so meaningful.
A bowl of fresh water outside your door.
A slower drive through your neighbourhood.
A gentle hand for an animal who’s nervous.
Respect for the desert and the sea they call home.
Small acts, every day.
Because the way we care for those who can’t speak says everything about who we are!
Whatever is happening around us, please don’t forget to love your pets and the animals around you. They stand by us, so let’s stand by them 🤍

Are we creating new value—or putting better technology around old assumptions?

Digitalisation takes effort. Digital innovation asks a deeper question: what should we do differently now that new possibilities exist?

AI can accelerate a process. Leadership must decide whether that process still deserves to exist.

The real measure of innovation is the value we create: a customer problem solved, a better experience delivered, or a new opportunity unlocked.

What holds innovation back most: technology, organisational culture, or leadership decisions?
