Some techniques have been passed down through generations, yet remain just as relevant today.

At Four Seasons Ramesh Gallery, traditional hand-knotting brings a distinctive texture and character to contemporary textile art.

Honoring, the memory of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, with great respect and gratitude.
My late father, Royal Photographer Ramesh Shukla, had the privilege of photographing Sheikh Rashid during that important period. As a child, I was fortunate to be present at some of those moments with him.

On the birth anniversary of Royal Photographer Ramesh Shukla (@ramesh_shukla), we remember a remarkable journey that became part of the visual memory of the UAE.
Across decades, his camera witnessed moments that became history.
The man behind the lens may no longer be with us, but his photographs continue to tell his story.

Deeply saddened by the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

My heartfelt condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family, the UAE leadership, and the people of the UAE. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this time of sorrow.

For four decades, my late father, Royal Photographer Ramesh Shukla, had the privilege of photographing Sheikh Ahmed and the Royal Family, preserving many moments through his lens. The kindness and support extended to our family over the years will always remain close to our hearts.

May Allah grant him Jannah.

Crafted for the Presidential Suite at InterContinental The Red Sea Resort (@intercontinentalredsea), this circular timber relief interprets the organic structures of Shura Island’s coral reefs.

Hand-carved forms, varied profiles and washed timber finishes give the composition its depth and sculptural character.

Part of our shortlisted project for the CID MENA Awards 2026 (@commercial_interior_design), Best Use of Art in Interior Design.

Developed by Red Sea Global (@redseaglobal), operated by IHG Hotels & Resorts (@ihghotels), with architecture by Foster + Partners (@fosterandpartners), and art concept & curation by Artychoke (@artychoke.art) and Kristina Zanic Consultants (@kristinazanicconsultants).

There is a rare mastery in the work of Emirati artist Abdul Qader Al Rais @abdulqaderalrais

One of the UAE’s most celebrated artists, he is particularly recognised for pushing watercolour far beyond its conventional scale, creating expansive works while preserving the transparency, movement and sensitivity of the medium.

His landscapes, architectural compositions, calligraphy and abstractions have formed a distinctive artistic language rooted in the UAE yet recognised far beyond it.

An inspiring visit to the art studio of a true pioneer of Emirati art.
