Misdirections Magic Shop is celebrating their 30th anniversary!

Owner Joe Pon and his wife Melissa packed their store along 9th Avenue in the Sunset with illusions, books, and tools of the trade. Today it’s one of the only Magic shops of its kind left in America.

Staying in business all of these years has come with its challenges. They’re only open a few hours each day. But Joe has built a loyal community and following in the magic world.

There’s ever a wall and ceiling filled with pro magicians Joe has trained over the years!

Joe teaches magic after hours and is also a DJ. You can find him sharing his travel and foodie pics online too. When you meet Joe you’ll realize he is an adult who is still a kid at heart!
