Is your business becoming more sustainable? 💼🌱💡

Companies nowadays are keen to tout their sustainable credentials, but doing so goes deeper than hopping onto a trend.

There is a backlash against environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives happening right now.

So, is this anti-ESG backlash motivated by planet, or profit? We have looked to the experts and found seven good reasons why sustainability is good for business. Including:

🏅Pursuing Green Innovations Boosts Competitiveness - Research from Durham University Business School.

🌎CEOs With Compensation Linked To ESG Targets Act More Sustainably - Stefan J. Reichelstein, professor emeritus at Stanford Graduate School of Business, along with fellow researchers.

💪 Companies That Invest In Sustainability Become More Resilient -

‘Girl math’ has worked its way into our social media feeds 💁‍♀️🔢

So, what is girl math? It’s probably easier to explain with examples. If you buy a jacket from a store and then return it, you’re making money, TikTok dictates. Similarly, if you buy a drink via an app in which you’ve pre-loaded money, your drink is free. 🥂

According to economist Annamaria Lusardi from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, individuals have a shocking understanding of personal finance. Annamaria has been tracking financial literacy in the US for two decades.

The study found that those who were young, less educated, female or not employed scored the lowest. Black Americans and Hispanics were also among the least financially literate.

Clearly something needs to change. Business school research is more important than ever to highlight inequality and better understand where things are going wrong…

Read more fascinating research from Business school’s such as INSEAD, Durham University Business School, Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, and many more! Link in Bio💡

Celebrate International Women’s Day by embracing change and why your business urgently needs more women! 👩‍💼💪💜

It's time to recognise the undeniable impact women can have on your business. Despite ongoing challenges, the tide is turning…

According to a recent McKinsey & Company report, the representation of women in C-suite positions has surged from 17% to 28% since 2015. And, whilst there is a long way to go before true equity for women in business is possible, particularly for women of colour, the progress that is being made should not be overlooked or undervalued. But it should be sped up.

We probably don’t need to tell you, but increasing the number of women in your business can be a real positive – both in terms of levelling the playing field for staff and providing better results for the company overall. We explore seven studies from leading academic minds and institutions around the world that prove why women are a key asset to any organisation. Including:

⭐ A study from Durham University Business School found that female CEOs are more debt averse than male CEOs.

⭐ Companies with more female board members achieve a much stronger level of overall performance, according to research from NEOMA Business School.

⭐ Research from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) has found that having more women in top positions has a positive effect on achieving sustainability goals.

To find out more about the seven studies, visit our link in our bio!💡
