If you have kids, you NEED to know about Dude Perfect.

And no, this isn’t just because my kids love watching it.

I’ve actually come to really appreciate what they’re watching and, even more, what it inspires them to do.

Here’s why Dude Perfect has earned a spot in our house:

1. I can actually let them watch it.
Like… actually let them watch it. No sitting nearby wondering what language is coming next or what they’re going to see. It’s wholesome, funny, and one of the few things I feel completely comfortable handing over to my kids.

2. They’re learning without realizing they’re learning.
Teamwork. Practice. Perseverance. Creativity. How to handle losing. How to laugh at yourself. All wrapped up in ridiculous trick shots and competition.

3. They make failing look normal.
You’ll watch them miss over and over before they finally nail the shot and my kids see that and think, “Okay, let me try.”
Those insane hole-in-ones and trick shots have genuinely inspired my kids to practice skills instead of giving up when they’re not immediately good at something.

4. My kids have basically become the Dude Perfect team.
They make up competitions. They challenge each other. They turn ordinary things into games.
“Who can get this in the trash can?”
“Bet you can’t make that shot.”
Suddenly, something as boring as cleaning up becomes a competition.

5. It doesn’t have to end when the video does.
They have live shows, board games, podcasts, an app, basketballs, merch, and all kinds of ways to take the fun into real life.

And THAT is probably what I love most. My kids aren’t just sitting there watching.

They’re playing. Creating. Practicing. Competing. Laughing.

So if Dude Perfect hasn’t made its way into your house yet… you’re welcome.

And if your kids already love it, tell me I’m not the only mom whose kids suddenly think every household object is a trick-shot opportunity.

TELL ME THIS REACTION ISN’T EVERYTHING???!!!! 🥹😭

Our kids are HUGE fans of @dudeperfect so when we heard the Squad Tour was coming to Fort Worth, we knew we had to surprise them with tickets.

Y’all... I wish I could bottle up this reaction forever.

The shock. The screaming. The jumping up and down. The immediate “WAIT... ARE YOU SERIOUS?!” 😂

As a mom, these are the moments I treasure most.

Not because everything has to be big or extravagant, but because getting to watch your kids light up with genuine excitement is one of the best parts of parenting. Seeing them completely caught off guard made my whole week.

Our kids have watched Dude Perfect for years. They’ve attempted more trick shots in the backyard than I can count, challenged each other to endless competitions, and spent countless afternoons trying to recreate what they see on screen. So when they realized they were actually going to see the Squad Tour live? Total disbelief. 🥹

And honestly, I think Alex and I were just as excited to surprise them as they were to get the tickets.

One thing I love about Dude Perfect is that it’s something our whole family can enjoy together. In a world where everyone seems to be pulled in different directions, it’s been fun having something that gets all of us laughing, cheering, and spending time together.

As parents, we’re always looking for ways to create memories with our kids. Most of the time, that looks like family dinners, game nights, backyard adventures, and the little everyday moments. But every now and then, we get the chance to surprise them with something they’ve been dreaming about, and getting to witness their joy is the real gift.

@dudeperfect, thank you for creating content that has given our family so many laughs, competitions, inside jokes, and memories over the years. We cannot wait to experience the Squad Tour together and see the guys live in Fort Worth!

Now excuse me while I watch this video another 47 times because I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this reaction. 😂❤️
