I had the privilege of hosting the VIP Meet & Greet session at the @dueparentingpod Calgary live show this past weekend, and I’m incredibly grateful to God for the strength and grace to do it all. 🙏🏾✨

A special thank you to @ejiroonobrakpor , @xtertainmentinc , and @nenritji for the opportunity. ❤️

I remember reaching out to Ejiro when I saw that the podcast was coming to Calgary, excitedly sharing how much of a fan I was and offering to help in any way I could to make the event a success. He welcomed me with open arms, and after a few team meetings, asked if I would host the VIP session.

The Bible says that your gift will make room for you (Prov 18:26). And honestly, this couldn’t be a more beautiful reminder of that truth. I had been thinking about getting back into emceeing and hosting for years because it’s something I genuinely love. But when I reached out to Ejiro, hosting was the last thing I expected to be offered. I was simply happy to help with planning, create content, and volunteering on the day of the event as part of the team.

But God! 🙏🏾🥹✨

Now, to @ibrahimsuleimanofficial and @ihuomalindaejiofor , whom I’ve been fans of for the longest time: you both made working with you such a joy. My goodness! I’ve met and worked with celebrities over the years, but I don’t think I’ve ever met two people as down-to-earth and easygoing as you both. Thank you for showing up so wholeheartedly and bringing your stories and show to Calgary. ❤️

To Dr Se-Inyenede, you were the perfect guest for this episode! What an interesting life you’ve lived. Thank you for sharing your story so beautifully and vulnerably. Your friendship with Ezinne , and the way you both show up for and love each other, has me reflecting on how intentional I am about my friendships and how much more intentional I want to be going forward. 🥹❤️

To everyone in the VIP session, thank you for making my job so easy! And to everyone who attended the main event, thank you for showing up and making it such a memorable experience.

Sometimes, the greatest evidence that our parents did something right is the person we become. ❤️
For three months, I’ve watched my mum watch me parent my children.

The woman my children know as a sweet, loving grandmother is the same woman who raised a wild child like me.

And now, with tears in her eyes, she blesses me for the father I have become.

She calls me Ose Omo — Father of Children.

Mum, you raised me the best way you knew how. I took the lessons you taught me, learned along the way, and chose the kind of father I wanted to become.
I am forever grateful.

Our parents may not have been perfect, but every generation has an opportunity to learn, grow, and do some things differently.

That is why parenting matters so deeply to me.
We are not just raising children. We are shaping the next generation.
