Old Hollywood was the theme of this year's @dukemansion Preservation Society Annual Soiree, which is, without question year after year THE best party in Charlotte. I proudly reached for one of my favorite handed down family dresses, my Grandmother's fur stole with brooch, my own debutante gloves circa 19997 and my handmade pheasant feather fascinator made by the most talented florist in the city, my pal @foxglovefineflowers, which she made for me for a photo shoot honoring my grandfather's once upon a time flame, Ava Gardner. What a night! I highly recommend you join The Duke Mansion Preservation Society!!

✨🎬 THE GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD 🎬✨

We were absolutely delighted to be part of such a spectacular evening at @dukemansion for the Golden Age of Hollywood Party, presented by the Preservation Society. ✨

From the stunning setting to the incredible details, the evening was truly one to remember. We loved bringing a little Black Crown Caviar elegance to this unforgettable celebration. 🖤✨

A beautiful night filled with glamour, incredible company, and, of course, plenty of caviar! 🥂🐟✨

Thank you to the Duke Mansion team for having us and for creating such a magical evening!

🎬✨ Lights. Camera. Caviar. ✨🎬

🌈🤍✨And THIS. This is the kind of stuff my brain dreams about.

We had the incredible opportunity to bring a little magic to this gorgeous tent from @partyreflections at @dukemansion for their preservation event. Incredible experience to be able to project onto this big, beautiful canvas!

🎬✨ HOLLYWOOD GLAMOUR, TAPP STYLE! ✨🥂

Last night was pure movie magic at the @dukemansion Golden Age of Hollywood Halloween Party, presented by the Preservation Society. And darling… the party of the year is officially in the books! 🌟

Patt Martin and her incredible team outdid themselves, creating an unforgettable evening filled with style, elegance, and a little Hollywood fantasy. Add our fabulous crew of friends, a whole lot of old-Hollywood style, and enough sparkle to light up the silver screen… and you have one party for the history books! 🎥💋

Lights, camera, GLAMOUR! Some nights deserve their own Oscar. 🏆✨

Yes! A real key, not a key card. There is something magical about a real key at a hotel nowadays—a feeling of nostalgia, of a time past.

Oh! And what about the porch right off your room? It takes me back to a slower time, sipping iced tea (or a cocktail, in my case) on the porch swing.

Yep, I’ll go back to that time, if just for a night…and I’ll go back to this hotel again and again when I can.

I checked in, dropped my bags in my room, and headed to the gardens. I was eager to walk around, take it all in, and just breathe and listen.

The Duke Mansion is surrounded by gardens, with sitting and gathering areas for friends or family tucked away in every nook.

This hotel is exactly what I needed for a solo stay before heading to the nearby mountains.
