Week 41/52 🌊🐋🐚👙☀️ Such a fab week!! 🥹 Feeling extra grateful for last week and all the little things that made it so special 🤍 Started the week packing and had an exciting little package arrive from @osleeves, with some goodies for myself and some for Mum’s birthday! 🎁 Then we headed off down to the South Coast for 6 days of pure relaxation, staying at @beachcabinsmerimbula 🐚🌊 Highly recommend! The perfect little getaway and so well deserved after 10 long weeks of work and finally reaching the end of 6 years of uni!! 🥹✨ I put my phone on DND for anything work or uni related (and anything that required too much brain power) and made a conscious effort to be present, enjoy the little things and soak up all the beautiful views. It was exactly what I needed! ☀️ The trip was also part of a birthday present for my partner, the main event being playing 18 holes of golf at the stunning Narooma Golf Course! ⛳️ We saw lots of whales, seals and dolphins, made friends with the lorikeets 🦜 also visited Pambula, Tathra, Bermagui and Eden. There was lots of yummy food and of course, my limoncello spritz from @zonzoestatec 🥂 A little ritual whenever I’m on holiday or it’s Christmas time! 🍋🤍 Reading 📖 Finally finished Fake Skating on my holiday and absolutely LOVED it!! Rated it 5 ⭐️ Lynn Painter has quickly become one of my favourite authors (thank you @literatureandleah 🥹) I also bought and started Betting on You and am still making my way through Burn of the Everflame. Really enjoying easy, quick reads at the moment and slowly getting myself out of this reading slump!! 📚🤍 Watching 🍿 Watched Carrie on @primevideoaunz and went in with absolutely no idea what to expect or what it was even about, but I lovedd! The ending was insane… Feeling very lucky, very rested and very grateful for a week full of sunshine, slow days, beautiful views & doing all the things that bring me joy🥹🤍🌊 I hope you all had a lovely week ✨ #whatthisweek #bookstagram @eurobodalla

Tura Beach, the Peter Thompson designed course is always a good challenge. The par is 73 rated 144. There are five par 5's and five par 3's like @pymblegolf my home Club.  What the numbers don't tell you, is it has drastic elevation changes, firm greens and extreme slopes on some of them. Nailing your numbers and putting prowess is paramount. I did neither exceptionally well, finishing +5 but the game is definitely moving in the right direction.  It was great to play with Scott and Rob both very good local golfers playing off four and also the recently crowned Australian Senior Open champion Leon Trenerry. Dinner was at Kitty's an Asian fusion place who rent space in the Merimbula bowling club. Thanks Scott for the referral.  Great food with the Salmon Tartare, with  hints of wasabi just the best.  If you want to take dinner to the next level then just add this lot, David and Sarah, Jacko and Julie, Powelly and Holly Hollingsworth then on top of good food you get great entertainment. Cleansing ale or Old Fashion at Dulcie's Cottage AGAIN. Why not, the place is fantastic.
