3 years ago, i told myself i wouldnt post again until i

1. became someone i could be proud of
2. built a life and community for myself that fulfilled me

truthfully, im further from these goals than ive ever been before. and as the years go by, i find the distance between me and that finish line only continues to grow. the journey will be neverending.

so i will learn to cherish the journey and thrive in the present, because what i have now is enough.

but one day, i will be able to grasp that finish line with my own two hands, regardless of the rotten work i need to endure to get there. this life is mine to live, and i will not let this life pass me by.
