#Kinderboekenweek #501stlegion #dutchgarrison

❄️ THE BATTLE OF HOTH — IMPERIAL FORCES DEPLOYED! ❄️ A massive vintage Star Wars display recreating the Battle of Hoth, presented at Treasures from Tatooine – Episode II in Diemen, Netherlands, on 20 September 2026. AT-ATs and AT-STs. Imperial Attack Bases. Speeder Bikes. INT-4s. And hundreds of vintage Imperial troops brought together to create one huge battlefield display — built around the look, scale and character of vintage Star Wars collecting. ⭐️ For me, displays like this are about more than simply putting a lot of figures on shelves. They’re about creating a complete collector experience and showing what can be achieved when vintage pieces, ideas and collectors come together. A HUGE THANK YOU to the entire Treasures from Tatooine team for making this true collector experience possible! 🙌 And thank you to everyone who helped set up the display, visited the convention, shared feedback and contributed new ideas for future projects. Your input is already helping shape what comes next. 🔥 THE HOTH DISPLAY IS COMPLETE — BUT THE COLLECTION KEEPS MOVING FORWARD. Stay tuned for a completely new display in 2027. For now… enjoy the reel and relive the Battle of Hoth! ❄️ #treasuresfromtatooine #duneseabase #dutchlegion #starwarsexhibition #starwarsnerd

🏃‍♂️🎀 10 kilometer. In kostuum. Wil jij onze troopers aanmoedigen én Pink Ribbon steunen? De link staat in onze bio! #pinkribbon #badguysdoinggood #501stlegion #Rebellion #mandalorianmercs

Check out the photos and video footage from ECHO BASE LIVE BENELUX at TOYZONE 2026 (31 May 2026, Haarlem, Netherlands). 🌟 A total of 566 vintage Imperial Star Wars figures, 5 AT-AT Walkers, 8 AT-ST Walkers, and 3 Imperial Attack Bases were set up in parade formation to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ECHO BASE LIVE BENELUX. 🔥 It was great to be there, and I am grateful to the TOYZONE and ECHO BASE LIVE organizers for giving me the opportunity to display my vintage Star Wars collectibles. Even though this Snowtrooper army demonstrates how almost 50 years of Star Wars history — or, in other words, decades of plastic degradation — have affected their armor, I still love the way they look on display. After all, these toys were made in the 1970s and 1980s to be played with. No one could have imagined that they would still be displayed decades later at fan conventions. I see this collection as an art installation that evolves every time I set it up. Be sure to follow my profile and check out my other displays, as well as future projects and exhibitions. ✨️ The feedback was fantastic, and many visitors told me that the Battle of Hoth was their favorite sequence from The Empire Strikes Back, featuring iconic Snowtroopers and Imperial walkers. 🥰 Thanks to everyone who stopped by — visitors, dealers, organizers, and, of course, all the Star Wars cosplayers. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. 🫶 #starwarsnerd #armybuilder #echobasebenelux #starwarscollector #toyzone
