Hard to put this season into words 🥹

Getting the opportunity to do what I love, covering the team I grew up rooting for, in the city that has always been home to me was truly a dream come true. It was a season full of big moments, lots of learning, even more laughing + plenty of Salvy splashes!

I couldn’t be more grateful for our incredible crew, my amazing teammates, the best players + coaching staff, and everyone in this @kcroyals organization who welcomed me with open arms from the beginning.

What a year 💙
See you in 2027!

1️⃣9️⃣YEARS OF OSD. 🎙️👟

August 2007, we turned on the microphones and started talking about something we loved — sneakers.

We had no idea where those conversations would take us.

Over the last 19 years, Obsessive Sneaker Disorder has given us the opportunity to sit down with some incredible people — designers, collectors, executives, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, educators and people who helped build and shape sneaker culture.

And I’m grateful for every one of them.

But today, I really want to thank YOU.

The people who listened.

The people who downloaded an episode, watched a show, called in, left a comment, disagreed with us, laughed with us, learned with us, shared an episode with somebody, came to an event, took a SOLEcial Studies class or simply told us, “I’ve been rocking with OSD for years.”

You are OSD.

We’ve watched sneaker culture change. We’ve watched people who started as listeners become creators, designers, entrepreneurs, educators and leaders in this industry and culture.

And we’ve grown right alongside you.

19 years later, we’re still here.

Still curious.
Still teaching.
Still documenting the culture.
Still having the conversations.
Still building.

And trust me…

WE’RE NOT DONE.

There’s a lot more coming.

Thank you to every guest who ever sat down with us — and especially to every person who ever pressed PLAY.

Happy 19th Anniversary Disorderlies!

Keep rocking with us. 👟🎙️

Boston Story.

Big s/o to Lany Bru !

I met Lany at the Solecollector event in Hawai’i at Niketown Waikiki.

I camped for 3 days and 2 nights on the corner of Kalakaua, and it was where I met Lany who would end up becoming the Grand Prize Winner of the sneaker show.

I felt this was when the sneaker culture started to really jump off.

Talking and meeting with collectors like Dom from Denver, Krabby from Chicago, Lany from NJ, Sonny from HI, and Alex better known as Retrokid, was a major inspiration.

With Solecollector Magazine starting to drive collecting into another era, we can’t leave out Bobbito and what Slam Magazine did with dedicated issues to kicks.

With that being said, I’ve always wanted to visit the East Coast and thankfully Lany invited me to come out to the Boston Solecollector event.

During this trip, I got to experience NY, NJ, and BOS.

The Boston event I got to get my event shirt signed by event staff like Steve and Dunk on Dunks. Got to hold Chamber of Fear Laser LeBron AF 1 boxes , help Lany with his OG air maxes and met a talented French man named Pierre.

Met Jeff Staple at Reed Space, bought some OG Shadow X’s from Dave at Dave’s Quality Meats, and visited Alife NY and Flight Club.

During the trip the Nicky Diamonds Tiffany Dunk SBs dropped and we went up and down the coasts to hunt them down with no success.

One of the most memorable moments were just chillin in Lany’s living room using a hot gun to vape flower and hearing his Nike stories.

Being able to see his grand prize 1of1 lithograph by Christopher Lundy was something I will never forget.

They released 2 exclusive sneakers at the event, the 2k5 Boston and 2k5 Cowboy Huaraches.

I remember when Kobe was rocking the 2k’s and later the Hyperdunk before having his signature shoe.

I was fortunate enough to get a pair and brought it back to the islands and linked up with the homie Brandon Matano who was playing for University of Hawaii Men’s Basketball.

Big Mahalo to the Solecollector and Instyleshoes Team for bringing life to the sneaker community and helping it grow.
