Thawing out and reflecting after spending a week in Montreal with the Quebecois société joyeuses @mtlclownfest 🤡

Thank you @nessiesjeans @joe_de_paul @krinhaglund the performers, foolosophers and audiences! I got to attend brilliant - bizarre shows, workshops and a even got to attend a clownference where we examined our human foibles and resisted the worlds sharp edges by filling the air with colorful, silly and delightful laughter. 🖤🤍🖤🤍

🎪✨ Gala Cabaret - Jump Cuts | Instants volés ✨🎪

Des petits moments.
Des regards qui se croisent.
Des rires qui résonnent.
C’est dans ces instants-là que la communauté se tisse.
C’est ça, le clown.

Little moments.
Glances meeting.
Laughter echoing.
This is how community is built.
This is what clowning is all about : resonance through laughter. 🤡✨

juste pour tenter un geste, un saut, une surprise;
qui les émerveille autant que vous.

—

Clowns are delight.FULL.
They feel everything, fully.
Every emotion is worth living.
Clowns are flexible.
They shapeshift, stretch, and twist
just to try something bold,
something that delights them as much as you.

Palazzo Nürnberg 2025/2026 recap

Thanks to the whole team on stage, off stage, backstage, front of house, in the kitchen, on the lot, off the lot, and of course thank you to the golden gorilla on top of the fridge holding it all together.

We have wrapped up the 2025/26 season with @palazzo_nuernberg 🫶 🍦🍨
This was an awesome season with such an awesome team.
And what made this even more special is I was finally given the opportunity to present this fun idea @the.kellin and I had. This act actually began its creation in 2022 but never got the opportunity to be premiered due to a contract cancellation. On the bright side of things, this time really allowed this act to flourish into something even cooler than what it was when it began! I designed and sewed my first costume, Kellin made this awesome music mashup and we built the whole ice cream cart. We have so much fun building these homemade, homegrown creations! More to come 😏

Again, it’s hard to express how wonder-full it is to see your children/students out in the world being happy, successful, creative, and bringing joy to others! Got to spend time with my biological and by-marriage children, @the.kellin and @dmaarie who are working at the @palazzo_nuernberg, a circus dinner theater. They are doing their new ice cream act based around Danielle’s hand balancing, plus Kellin’s club juggling act, and their @duo.doop hooping act. They’re living in a wonderful skylit apartment (albeit it’s 100 steps up) and creating the next chapters of their sensationally shared lives! Plus, Kellin gave me homemade bread and jam to take on the next leg of my journey…
