The response to HYPVA001 has been overwhelming.

We’ve collected some of our favourite feedback from artists, listeners, and peers across the scene.

These moments of connection mean a lot to everyone involved. Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to listen, support, and share the project.

With the release of HYPVA001 only days away, we’re putting the spotlight on our longest-standing partner at Hyperfocus: Oliver Greenfield, also known as @essentia_music.

Since the inception of our label in 2022, Oliver and @duplicitymastering have been an integral part of every Hyperfocus release, mastering each EP with a unique blend of analog and digital techniques that have helped define our sound.

We asked him a few key questions about his approach, his role in the VA, and some of the challenges he faces along the way.
